‘The Government Will Not Save Our Nation’

(CNS News) -- Former U.S. Secretary of Housing and Urban Development Dr. Ben Carson spoke at the Family Research Council’s Pray Vote Stand Summit last week in Atlanta, Ga., explaining why the federal government “will not save our nation” but that “we the people,” regular citizens, can save our country.

Carson, is a retired pediatric neurosurgeon, best-selling author, and the founder of the American Cornerstone Institute…

…“We’ve kept it (a republic) for almost 250 years,” said Dr. Carson at the summit. “It is at the most tenuous spot right now that it has ever been in. We have forces that want to fundamentally change our nation, and the only thing that is going to save our nation is, we the people.”

“The government will not save our nation because governments do what governments do,” he said. “They grow, they infiltrate and they dominate, which is the reason our founders worked so hard to give us a Constitution that would control the government.”

Dr. Ben Carson is exactly right. Our constitution is the bulwark that protects all of our liberty and freedom and safeguards our God given rights. We the people must be on guard to prevent an ever expanding big government from trampling upon our rights by trampling upon the constitution they have disdain for.

 

We must save our Republic and our constitution from the fascist thugs who control the executive and legislative branches in Washington DC.

Trump was bringing them back. The tax cut incentives worked big time as they and even foreign companies were relocating here. And government revenues from corporate taxes exploded in growth because of it. Democrats didn’t like it because almost all of the insourcing was happening in right to work red states in close proximity to cheap natural gas. Bicoastal elites would rather keep the jobs overseas than see all the growth in what is to them the wrong America.

Trump refused to put stings on the corporate tax cuts, he should have punished corps that outsourced our jobs

No one here ever suggested no government. We want smaller federal government within the confines of its enumerated powers and not being an overwhelming taxing or regulatory limit on our freedoms, liberty, and individual rights. State and local governments can meet needs the constitution doesn’t empower the feds to do.

 

There was little or no outsourcing while Trump was our President. He threatened massive tariffs on the incoming products of the companies that did so while using tax incentives to get the ones already gone to come back. It worked. Since the Trump tax cuts and his tariffs are for now still in effect it is still working for Biden now too.

 

Ben Carson is proof that brain surgery is not rocket science.
