Donald Trump only fires the best people because he only hires the best people. There must be more exits than entrances at the White House to accommodate all the firings. What's next? Every new hire will just get a visitor temporary badge? Will the cabinet room be fitted with ejector seats or a trap door with a chute to a dumpster? Trump, the more things change the more they stay the same. Are there more of 'the best people' available? https://www.nytimes.com/2018/03/15/us/politics/trump-white-house-turnover.html
I heard a classic case of Trump cognitive dissonance yesterday. One clip he said how Rex had some different opinions than him on some issues and Pompeo is more aligned with his views Then later he said he likes to have people around that disagree with him.
Although Trump hires people he respects and admires, that doesnt always mean theyre a good fit for the job. Working relationships are a lot like personal relationships... you dont really know if youre compatible until you spend lots of time together. I'd rather see turnover than inept people kept in jobs just because they're owed political favors. . Like we've seen with past presidents.
Always wondered if that was the connection between Obama and his closest advisor, Valerie Jarrett. She definitely had him right where she wanted him... still does.
