I see that this got moved to elections when Trump was one of many speakers who spoke at an annual summit of a group focused on current events in education. It was not a campaign event rally as is obvious to any rational unbiased fair minded observer.

You can't be "for liberty" and support a man who tried to overthrow our democratic elections and have himself installed as the unelected President of the US. It's a logical impossibility. These are Moms for Dictatorship.

Republicans, yes for the most part. But not the rest of the country. The Republican base 79% favorable, 21% unfavorable. Independents, the largest portion of the electorate at 41%, 39% favorable, 55% unfavorable and of course, Democrats who hate Trump. But here they are anyway, 13% favorable, 84% unfavorable.

Bottom line, only Republicans love Trump, no one else does. Then too, only 33% of all Americans want Trump to run again, 57% do not. But 63% of Republicans do, so he probably will. These numbers may not translate to a very good general election.

    MAG: Make America Great
    MFL. Mothers For Liberty

I can easily imagine people or nations with legitimate grudges against the US (Cuba, Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Iran, Russia, China, Serbia, Irak, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria, Mexico, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Panama, Haiti, Grenada, etc.etc.etc.) wanting the US to fail in MAGA and MFL but why Americans don't want their country to succeed is a mystery. Are they so badly dumbed down that they don't know what is good for them?

The historical facts say the opposite. Trump was the one who tried to overthrow the election and install himself as an unelected dictator. Homework. Give it a try.

And? Quoting a well known genocidal maniac for any reason is not something normal people should be doing, and the fact that at least one of their members met with the Proud Boys and a white nationalist group makes it worse.

So hating the designated source is more important than accepting facts, right? Accepting facts is not "normal"? Yep! But ain't it interesting that all of the documentation by "genocidal maniac" medical experimentation and rocketry the NAZIS documented were not tossed out the window!   Double standards much?

I remember him throwing a fit when friendly interviewers simply asked him what his favorite parts of the Bible were: a favorite book or a favorite verse. He could have paraphrased a verse and it would have been fine. Instead he threw a tantrum about how he thought that was too personal to talk about. This is, of course, the guy who quoted the non-existent "Two Corinthians." I've never heard an actual Christian react that way before, and I grew up in a conservative Christian community for decades. No one would throw that kind of fit just asked what their favorite verse was. Hell, he could have just thrown out the easy John 3:16 answer.

In other words: there's about as much chance the Trump has read the Bible as there is that he's read the Constitution. Zero.

The dude even said he doesn't ask God for forgiveness . . . which is kind of a big deal in Christianity.

I think I know what you're implying, and whatever you're gonna tell me is bullshit because if you're willingly quoting Hitler and hanging out with white nationalist groups then you don't get the benefit of the doubt as far as opinions are concerned.

Trump gets warm reception from legion of diehard fans.

Shocking the twists and surprises that life throws you. I would have never seen that coming in a million years.

Next you're going to tell me all those folks paying outrageous ticket prices to see Elton Jon on his farewell tour really love Elton Jon. Call me crazy, but I say they're doing it for the concession stands.

Golly! You've got it all figured out in your absurd imagination. Facts are irrelevant.
