The schools make MILLIONS on the backs of these athletes and those athletes cant even get a free dinner because the old rich NCAA thinks that would be “cheating”. These kids should be getting something for what they bring to the institutions that they represent.

Hell the head coaches make MILLIONS, most of the assistant coaches make millions, and the AD’s at those schools make even more than head coaches. Its time that the people who make the sacrifice get something from it.

 

And that explains the lack of success at UT how? Not everyone chooses to go where the money is higher as well. The team that spends the most in the NFL on free agents doesn’t typically win the Super Bowl(don’t think one has, actually, but that could be an old stat and there is one now. One.) While money can acquire talent, it cannot acquire wins. Since free agency started in the NFL, parity has increased.

Not about kids getting paid, there exist numerous ways to financially reward athletes, what this does is make what used to be college football professional, and raises numerous questions regarding the integrity of the schools

 

You are applying NFL realities to college football, irrelevant, NFL teams are owned by private individuals and really don’t represent anyone but those owners. The owners only relationship with the players is that of an employee, colleges have a greater responsibility to the student

Lease is automatically renewed as long as the kid stays on scholarship, and being a kid, especially one tampered, they won’t loose any sleep of a beat vehicle when they turn it in
