I am basing this largely on interaction with Trump supporters. There are several on this vry forum who have expressed support, and a much larger number who have no issue with simply ignoring the will of votgers in multiple states and sending pro-Trump electors to the EC. Sure, very few openly call for martial law, but if it happened most would suddenly discover their opposition to the idea was less fixed than they might imagine. I don't think there will be martial law. What I do think is that the Republican committment to democracy has been slipping for several decades and that seeing past & present Trump Administration figures and numerous Trump supporters calling for marital law is yet more evidence of that. You may choose not to see that, but it is happening.
