“Progressive” Economics - Socialist or Fascist?

    It has nothing to do with "humanity" it has to do with economics. It appears you have never owned and run a business or had to budget for employee cost. Labor is an EXPENSE the cost of which is taken against income. Those providing that labor have no stake in the company or that outcome.

    YES it is an EXPENSE. Do those employees take out mortgages on their homes and put that money into the company when they hire in?


    I have already explained to you what is a stakeholder in something. Decision makers at the highest level may have a financial interest, a stake, in the company but not all decision makers do and are stakeholders.

    That is fine for managing your labor which is STILL an expense. The best managers know how to get the best value for that EXPENSE.

    I would think one big reason would be owners who do not realize what is an expense in their company.
