    I should have a expected this. I think they were just trying to convey that this is happening in a place where things like it haven't happened since WWII. How would be a better way to report on the war:

    I don't agree with the article, but we do seem to be forgetting that we have invaded plenty of countries in recent memory. The outrage as if this is the first invasion since the 40s is a little rich.
