..."taking any action harmful to any person," pretty well covers it. Putting someone's life in danger would seem to be harmful.

Nobody is doing that. Here's something harmful to a witness, the OR Dem Congressman threatening Sondheim's wife's business with a boycott.

We'll find out in the Senate trial, if it makes it that far.

no we won't, would be a sad day if we did as that would mean corruption in our government would go unchecked as people would fear reporting abuse

both sides supported whistle-blower laws.... sad that some republicans want to punish this one because it was Trump they outed

Everything the whistle-blower has said has been proved to be true, and yes, I want employees to anonymously be able to report crimes they see in government and if credible for them to be investigated and appropriate action taken against the one violating the rules, up to and including firing

I do not support a sitting President not being able to be indicted... do the crime... do the time

You mean the concern under the Obama admin. No investigation, nothing debunked.

To accomplish what? Trump has already admitted what he did.

Let's see what Lindsay uncovers - again, perfectly fine with it. Investigating is just that - looking at a situation to determine wrong doing. If there was wrong doing, it needs to come out.

There is no statute that protects the WB identity and our law specifically allows one to face their accuser as a right. You have been lied to.

A former FBI contractor-turned-whistleblower who supplied documents related to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton and the Uranium One controversy was raided by the FBI. That’s how it works under democrat control.

Trump is the only political leader who has been vindicated by THREE YEARS of non-stop Congressional/MSM/LWM/REM/Special Prosecutor/grand jury investigations.

Should the rest of them be interviewed before grand juries every time there is probable cause to do so? Absolutely.

You STILL Haven't Gotten The Memo?

    • The primary law that governs intelligence whistleblowers is named the Intelligence Community Whistleblower Protection Act of 1998. It lets whistleblowers report wrongdoing through a specific system in exchange for protection from retaliation by Congress.
    • Under the law, the intelligence community inspector general is not allowed to disclose the identity of the whistleblower, except if it’s unavoidable.
    • The whistleblower was revealed to be a Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) officer, and CIA employees are protected by a 2014 amendment.

    Any more MISINFORMATION? :bored:

Yes, only the Inspector General is not allowed and conditional at that. For instance, if the whistleblower is called before Congress then the IG has to disclose. It does not apply to anyone else. Also the protections are against reprisal and specifically for a CIA officer protection of classified information which does not apply here.

Lying Donnie said that he would be willing to testify. Just like Lying Donnie said he would be willing to testify as part of the Mueller investigation. Lying Donnie just can't help himself: A natural-born liar.
