Their was nothing to sign this would have become a bill a some future point had he not told them to stick it. It hadn't been voted on in either the house or the senate let alone both In other words quit being disengenuous.

I don't like his position on a lot of things. I favor a strong military but not at the expense of doubling the size of the rest of government to get 2% increase in Military spending and Lindsey would swallow that hook line and sinker if given the opportunity. And again they didn't bring a bill they brought a proposal for a bill and a pretty crappy proposal at that.

Show me the bill... Show me in black and white where is says there are going to give money for the wall. If that had been there you'd have had you deal. But the Dems have steadfastly refused to do this.

It's what Trump has been saying all along. Keep pretending like you have a point though.

Just like you keep pretending that whatever was presented to Trump was good for anyone but Mexican citizens.

Well then, here is your grand opportunity to really nail me to the wall with this.

Show us point by point what was in the "bipartisan" agreement presented to the POTUS.

    Really get me good here.

Come on, give it your best effort, I'm all out here on this limb.

You sound like an expert on this.

Please tell us what it is that Trump objects to.

The framework for the bill they proposed to Don met the criteria he established. It included unpopular funding for a wall and a popular provision for dealing with the DACA participants all but extremist Repubs favor. He had previously said he would sign a bill based on those provisions.

No need to. The evidence given is truthful and objective.

    DACA extension and

In an attempt to satisfy conservative requests for border security and Trump's demand for a border wall, the measure would authorize $2.8 billion for border security, including Trump's $1.6 billion request for a border wall. The money would fund a partial construction of a fence along the border, technology and the training and retention of border patrol agents.

Consideration of how to handle the future of the parents of Dreamers was was described as the most difficult part of the negotiations. Conservatives want an end to family-based migration, the agreement won't allow the parents of Dreamers to apply for citizenship. They would, however, be able to stay in the country under a protected status.

And finally, the program would change the diversity visa lottery system as well. Some of the annual 50,000 slots will be used for people in the country who have lost their temporary protected status and some will be used for low immigration countries.

I have already stipulated to the fact the final language of the bill had not been written. That is beside the point. The point is if Don agreed to the basic framework, as he said he would if it included the provisions he wanted (which it did), the bill would have been finalized and a vote in Congress would have already taken place.

    Source for claim please.

Also, the funding amounts you listed were not the amounts needed to fund the project.

I agree, but only if employers cannot be sued for looking into the status of their applicants.

Trump said he wanted a bipartisan bill filled with love... he got it... but seems someone really did not want that, he just wanted to act like a good person on tv, in private he was a different person
