People leave this board for other reasons besides dying. Many call it "wising up" and say it reflects an increased awareness of the irrefutable fact that the one thing all of us have the exact same amount of, and must therefore never waste, is time. Leaving here is therefore a large forward step in our development as people and something we should all wish to do if we are to remain vibrant and achieving human beings

Can you cite a source saying it was dictated by trump? The White House physician was there atleast since Obama, so I'm curious why he would risk his reputation for trump.

I suspect all Presidents are like this. The difference is just they don't say what they're thinking.
A lot of things politicians say are just talking points they've picked up in the news.

 

My suspicion is that this isn't an either-or situation. I suspect he is not only unscrupulous, devious, and acting with the malicious, calculalted intent to undermine Constitutional protections to gain absolute power, he is also mad. By all accounts he can appear rational and logical. But that is a facade. He knows how to fake sanity. The same was true of Hitler. He was evil. He sought absolute power and world domination. But he was also mad; which was likely amplified due to his abuse of methamphetamine and Oxycodone. Ironically that was probably his undoing. He slept through the opportunity to switch his forces from Calais to Normandy because he was coming down from a meth high.

As I have said for some time now, trump is the most dangerous man in the world. And we can easily see from his 3AM tweets that he battles many demons in his mind, or what's left of it.

Your philosophy (an above and beyond "thing" for most people on this planet) is pretty good too.

Apisa was a philosopher too. And he was in his late 80's or early 90's. So that's why I worry.

 

I would love to see trump get a PET scan. He is almost certainly a psychopath. He seems to have no ability to empathize. That part of his brain doesn't function. It is abundantly clear to me that he is incapable of compassion.

I'm not a liberal. I have supported many Republicans. But I can say with total honesty that the day trump was elected was one of the worst days of my life. I knew he was evil after listening to about ten minutes of one of his early rallies. What I never imagined was that so many Americans would be incapable of seeing this; or perhaps that they just don't care. It is as plain as trumps cheesy comb over.

 

It is how they rationalize obvious evil. When you wish to support evil but don't want to admit it, you make the claim or rationalize the argument that everyone does it; that everyone is as evil and malicious as trump.

Anyone who thinks there is not a fundamental difference between trump and Obama, or trump and Bush, is out of touch with reality or knowingly supporting evil.

 

Makes me wonder if they care about America.

 

The only question is my mind is whether they are knowingly supporting evil or incapable of recognizing it.

And apparently you are incapable of recognizing that liberals aren't the only ones who can see that trump is evil. But some people are just very limited, which explains trump. I have a hard time accepting the extent to which that is true. I thought most Americans were better than that. So that mistake is my fault.

 

Oh, I do hate trump. No about about that. I hate him because I have always loved America so much. There was a time I was willing to die for my country if needed. But trump and his followers have proven I was a fool for thinking so highly of my country.

I have a righty friend who gets my anguish. He is smart enough to see the problem. When he asked why I say I will never say the pledge again, I tell him that I don't pledge allegiance to something when I no longer know what represents.
