    I still don't need a pharmaceutical intervention to "protect" me from a virus with a 99% survival rate.

    Thanks to vitamin and mineral supplements, I'm doing just fine.

    But, there IS money to be made from the superstitious and gullible.

    I think having this vaccine is nice - if someone is really forced to take the vaccine (if need to travel for example) then they could feel better by taking this one instead of using experimental platforms.

    This very much IS an experimental platform. It's never been used on humans before. It is issued under an Emergency Use Authorization. Those to whom it has been administered are test subjects.

    That is the issue at stake regarding the fact that nearly all airline pilots have taken the shots, some willingly and some under duress, the FAA has allowed that in violation of its own regulations.

    It utilizes a platform that has solid history, like other vaccines that we received during our childhood.

    Ok, I thought novavax is an inactivated vaccine. It’s a subunit vaccine.
    Still, subunit vaccines are not new - there are tons of vaccines that utilize this platform. My reluctance to mrna and viral vector vaccine lies in the fact that there are no alternative vaccines that were used for extended period of time. Presence of a vaccine against a pathogen that is not politicized allows for an unbiased research on long term effects. I already have natural immunity, but if I absolutely have to take a vaccine for some reason, then I’d pick novavax.

    The current shots from Pharma are not vaccines. They are gene-editing platforms.

    I'm still using the definition that's been in use for the last 100 years.
