    Truly an amazing sight!!!!

    2nd ave, 3rd ave, Lexington, Madison, 5th Ave ALL shut down by marchers.

    from 42 st all the way to 59th.

    There were marchers of all ages. Millenials, Gen Xers, Baby Boomers, Seniors.

    Never seen this many people at a march in NYC. And Ive been to a bunch, since 1998.

    And not one single Trump supporter in sight.

    I say at least 300,000 people. Based on the number of streets packed with people.

    Truly an amazing thing. Proud to be a NYer and an American!!!!

    130,000 in Seattle
    250,000 in Chicago

    An estimated total of 1.8 million attending 600 protests across the country in every state. And no violence.

    I saw 10 minutes of it, when Madonna said "F--- you!" several times from the podium.

    That was enough for me; I turned it off.

    no, i don't believe in political violence as long as peaceful and legal means of protest and change are still possible.

    first peaceful protest, then civil disobedience, and if all else fails...well. ;)

    Protesting is fine. Violence isnt.

    Here in my home town we had a protest recent due to an officer (*)(*)(*)(*)ing up.

    The protesters were angry, but peaceful. They didn't block anyone's path, or anything and ended it with a massive prayer.

    That's how it's done.

    Just understand there are just as many people who feel the opposite of you. If you think you "have the power", you are being nieve. A hypothetical war between sides is certainly not what you want, if you have any sense of self preservation.
