10 years of Ukrainian coup d’état. Did the West provoke it?

Yes. Somehow Obama went from sending a message to Putin that after he stands for reelection, he can be more accomodating, to bitter and angry, and promoting a coup of the pro-Russian Ukrainian government.

 

Not only does Russia hold the high moral ground

Ok, 99% of Congress voted to send military force to bring 'peace and stability to south east Asia'
and we started our 'police action' in Vietnam using the only police force
in the world that has B-52s, they carry 70,000 pounds of bombs each.

Well, we got tricked then and we've been tricked again.

we are losing in Ukraine, our weapons and the Ukrainians holding them,

so we need an off ramp and that comes after we've got huge numbers of people
killed and a significant part of the country destroyed,

 

So to prevent Donald Trump from having all the cards during the election,
including the trump card, Biden can say he will be the one to bring peace to Ukraine.

So he has to show willingness to negotiate, but I'm guessing he might do
the same as he did after the cease fire agreement on Apr 1 2022 in Istanbul
when he and the UK cancelled the agreement

he will cancel any agreement of peace if it starts to look like we might win,
because we (USA) have three times the population of Russia and 13 times
the GDP of Russia, and with the rest of NATO we have a whole bunch more,
then we will win very quickly.

Unless Russia has the moral high ground and as a result better morale,
which they do, then that will offset our other advantages and then it's
anybody's guess who will win.

 

I have accepted that MLK was right about the US government being the largest purveyor of violence on the planet since my time in Vietnam. I cannot see what positive things were accomplished by the US government in Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Ukraine and pretty much anywhere else on the planet.

Of course Putin has done some bad things, and that could be said about you and me both and pretty much every human ever born. That does not justify the belligerence of the US government, NATO and Tel Aviv.
