DENVER (KDVR) — Denver Police are investigating multiple shootings that sent 11 people to the hospital after thousands flocked downtown in celebration of the Denver Nuggets’ historic NBA Finals win. 10 shot in 2000 block of Market Street Just before 1 a.m. Tuesday, DPD tweeted that they were investigating a shooting in the 2000 block of Market Street. DPD said nine gunshot victims were located. Police said they identified a suspect who also sustained a gunshot wound. Three victims remain in critical condition at a local hospital, and the other victims appear to have non-life-threatening injuries, according to DPD. At around 1:11 a.m., DPD said they were investigating a shooting in the area of 17th Street and Blake Street where one person was shot. However, officers provided an update that the victim was actually shot in the 2000 block of Market Street and self-transported to the hospital.... _________________________________________ Why does this stuff happen just in America? Are Americans more violent spectators? I seriously doubt it. I do wonder, though, how many of the shooters took guns to the celebration for their own 'safety and protection'?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say the people in the photo weren't the shooters, they don't fit the profile.
Have you ever been to Downtown Denver? I was there a few weeks back on business, pretty sketchy parts and people in certain areas. That being said, Soccer get's the wounded award with their stampedes they've had over the years trampling people. I doubt this had anything to do with the game.

Just to let everyone know, Denver used to have a very Wild West mentality, where they were very much in favor of gun freedom, despite traditionally being a Democrat supporting area. But around the late 1990s Denver began to change. Lots of people began moving there from other areas because Denver was a big city area but much more affordable than other states. Today, the Denver area is more and more resembling the feel of Los Angeles, and has exploded with population, and the suburbs have been sprawling outwards. The more affordable nature of Denver has meant a lot of "lower class" people are moving there from big city areas in other states. So that has been bringing some crime problems.
Yea the kid missed kids at school, I'm tired of the aussie's on this board and their BS banging on America day in and day out. They have similar issues with shootings, they have whole sections of their country with complete bans on abortion yet they're here going on and on about American states having restrictions. The point is this shooting had nothing to do with sports fans as was his jab, it's a problem in Aussy land yet you never ever see them post anything about their own country.
I would hope so. I'd hate to think you were saying Denver was bad because it was full of black people because that'd be an incredibly dickheaded thing to say. Especially since Denver is only 9% black
