2015 Lie of the Year: the campaign misstatements of Donald Trump

And, bless his heart, he's made an art for out of it, where the bigger the lie, the more his supporters seem to love him. Go figure. Anyway:

Can any Trump supporter here honestly say that this is the man you want sitting in the Oval Office and dealing with world leaders? not to mention confronting enemies? I mean, if he's doing this so blatantly right now, what will happen if he gets into office? Face it, bluster and bravado can only get you so far. But, hey - Putin likes him.

 

When I looked at that list I didn't see anything that would impact me, you or anyone else. He's not lying about getting you to buy something you don't want, he's not lying to cover up crimes or incompetence, his misstatements don't bother me at all in a day where whoppers are frequently told without consequence. How about you? His "lies" are no different that your being told you'll be murdered, your home will burn down, and your kids won't be educated unless we raise taxes to support cops, firemen and teachers.

Trump has said that he identifies "more as Democrat" than he does as a Republican.

Trump also has said that the "economy does better under the Democrats than the Republicans."

Trump has said Hillary "always surrounded herself with very good people. I think Hillary would do a good job [as President]."

Trump has spent years donating to Hillary and other Democrats.

Trump says he's "very liberal when it comes to health care", and believes "in universal health care", and said he "would put forth a comprehensive health care program and fund it with an increase in corporate taxes."

Trump supports a "ban on assault weapons", and would "support a slightly longer waiting period to purchase a gun."

 

I find the Trump candidacy interesting. I am not a die hard supporter of anyone but the media has been going after Trump lately and I would say the article is spinning. These "lies" have been proven to not be lies. Meanwhile Hillary has had many lies proven to be lies. Where is the media with her?

 

Fact: HRC is a known pathological liar - Trump clearly is not.

 

Ted Cruz supports giving illegal aliens legal status.

 

And so far no candidate has advanced a plan for *real* cuts (not even a 1% cut) to the size, power and cost of government.

What does this tell us about *all* the candidates?

 

Hahahaha anytime a lefty calls someone out for being a liar I have to laugh. For some reason they seem to think they are the only people allowed to lie for personal gain. What's up with that?

 

Trump is the Messiah to many. I will opine that 76 % of his statements turning out to be false does not look good at all for the man.

 

That makes him 24% more honest than obama and Hillary.

 

I'm not a Trump supporter, but I am wondering why that question even merits a response when it's coming from the people who support the 2013 Politifact Liar of the Year and Hillary Clinton? It's not like Obama and Clinton supporters give a flying (*)(*)(*)(*) about the truth, so why should anyone entertain their hypocrisy?

 

Donald's "lies" didn't kill anyone. Hillary's did, and Democrats will be voting for her.

Ted Cruz attached an amendment that PREVENTED CITIZENSHIP FOR THOSE HERE ILLEGALLY!

And his amendment would have PREVENTED THOSE WHO ENTERED THE COUNTRY ILLEGALLY FROM HAVING ACCESS TO FEDERAL, STATE, OR LOCAL PUBLIC ASSISTANCE BENEFITS!

That's why he wanted the bill to pass because with his amendment attached to the bill, it would have sabotaged the gang of eight bill.

You had 8 years of the Clinton's and they proved they have no morals , and zero values . Who robs the White House furniture ? Who has the gull to say to America " I never had sex with that women " when we all know it was a boldface LIE ! Who claims to be "dead broke " when they are offering favors for donations to that fraud Clinton Foundation with over 2.4 BILLION DOLLARS which has become Clinton family and friends travel expense account . With foreigners waiting to collect on those donations . Trump would be a refreshing moral change to the White House !!!!
