Republicans did pretty good last night. They picked up house seats and won most of the gubernatorial races. I suspect a lot of people, including me, didn't reject republicans. They rejected a pig. I voted all R, against my normal 3rd party behavior, to offset my one D vote, which is also against my normal 3rd party behavior.
No fraud. The "fraud" that is being shouted by our president, who doesn't understand how elections work in the United States. I'm hoping Mitch will bring him a picture book and explain it to him.
So-called "fraud" claimed by Trump. Sorry perhaps I should be literal. Thought folks would understand my posting style by now but I guess there's a lot of people on the forum
Yeah, it takes awhile. It took me a long time to get to know people's general style and way of thinking. There's currently 121 members browsing the forums.
Yes. I absolutely did not say I didn't care who is president. I said it doesn't affect me. There is a HUGE difference. You also referenced the rich when you initially quoted me. That was another reason I made the claims about your misinterpretation. I didn't see any way to interpret my post that way either.
Biden's lead is shrinking in Arizona, as more mail in ballots come in for Trump. FRAUD!!! FRAUD!!! FRAUD!!! Lol... no, just votes being counted.
Trump on COVID: "Stop the counting!" Trump on election: "Stop the counting!" Basically Trump's presidency in a nutshell.
So who directs the nation's economy doesn't affect you...OK, lucky you.... Everyone else in the nation does care, though of course the rich are comfortable either way....
AN, most state legislatures changed the rules, based on Republican rhetoric, to allow for more checks and balances on absentee ballots. And almost every state doesn’t allow absentee ballot counts and verifications to start until Election Day, even if they are received weeks before Election Day. And some states (Pennsylvania) make them wait until the day after Election Day to start counting those ballots. With the fact that well over half of the ballots cast being absentee, I’m not surprised it is taking this long. Lets get it right
I'm sorry if it bothers you that I don't depend on the government for anything. It seems the left believes they are greatly dependent on the government. I can't fathom living that way.
The dems are becoming rather uncomfortable at the idea of validating the votes and doing recounts? why?
So it would appear that Biden will close in on Georgia, and thus become the 46th President in what will hopefully be the last election of its kind. I still don't like it, I'll never like it. But it's reality.
~ This will likely depend on the legislature in those 7 states - all Republicans - who tend to be lazy. The matter would be better in Federal court instead of state court. Could be some last minute excitement. With Trump we can expect the unexpected .
But the president does lead a team who think they can best manage the economy, and the public fight (in elections...literally it would seem at present) to elect the team they think can best manage the economy on the public's behalf... And as I noted: Re economics: if a country's central bank is in the hands of non-elected (by the people) private banksters (as is the Fed), then the private and public sectors are automatically pitted against one-another. That's why the Right and the Left are perpetually pitted against one another, in our neoliberal democracies. And in the next few days we will see how the Right reacts when it loses...... But the private-bankster-controlled central bank system* will remain dysfunctional because it engenders an entrenched, insane partisanship; in that sense it doesn't matter who wins...a disastrous system for a nation facing a pandemic and a recession. *see MMT, or China with its government-owned national bank, for alternatives
