To date, Trump's approval rate remains at 43%, as it has always been for the past 4 years. No President has ever been re-elected with a rate below 50% except Bush 43 (47%). Another important fact is that no President has ever been re-elected during a recession when it began during his term. After 40,000 election simulations, FiveThirtyEight gives Biden an 87% chance of winning against 12% for Trump.
Yep. Trump is on steroids alright! You sure, you want this guy to run a country? That's right, you don't. And he won't. The hypocrisy of Democrats is astounding, even to a cynical me.
Because it does. If Trump gets a second term he IS going to start killing people. All this law and order nonsense has just been testing the waters to see how big roundups, mass arrests and death camps will be received.
ANYBODY (Literally Anybody, assuming that they have reached the Age of 35) would be better than Trump. Even the average panhandler begging for spare change would be better than that Orange Imbecile. Trump has ZERO Chance to repeat his unlikely win of 2016. Once again, Trump holding Biden under 300 EV would be a miracle.
Yep. What don't we know that the enlightened, tolerant, compassionate liberal democrats do? Please, please, please watch for at least 30 seconds? And please, show me evidence of just a sparkle of enthusiasm for the sleepy Joe?
Yes, we all know the deplorables have little else to do.... even worse since the COVID layoffs began...
Lowest minority unemployment in history, drastically improved trade agreements, no ISIS, no Al-Qaeda, more middle east peace agreements in 3 years than his predecessors had in the last 75 years, energy independence, hundreds of stock market records, booming manufacturing industry, strengthened better funded NATO, Iran on the ropes, no new wars... Biden would definitely be better than Trump... better for China, Iran, ISIS, the Military industrial complex... For them Biden had always been incomparably better.
The GDP growth rate under Trump was only 2.6%/year (before the pandemic) Obama did 2.3% while the unemployment rate was 5%.... Therefore, Trump's economy did not generate growth in household consumption. Before the pandemic, Trump's economic record was already indefensible. Really? You probably want to talk about the deal with China that will never happen. The negative US trade balance continued to grow under Trump. Trump was even forced to betray his signature this spring by imposing an illegal tariff because American companies were buying too much Canadian aluminum.... A tariff that he finally didn't apply because he was afraid of Canada's reprisals. This is not true. Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan and Wisconsin lost 16,000 manufacturing jobs in 2019 alone. The pandemic has replaced them.... X 1000
Hillary with landslide!! Have fireworks over Maryland been ordered yet? Is it not a little early to count your Democratic chickens?
Says Patrick J. Buchanan , , , Start quote "In national polls, Trump is further behind, in some by double-digits, reflecting the mammoth Democratic majorities in populous and deep-blue California, New York and Illinois. Still, this thing is not over. For, at this stage of the 2016 campaign, Hillary Clinton was showing equally impressive poll numbers, and she would go on to lose all eight of those battleground states in the greatest upset since Harry Truman defeated Tom Dewey in 1948." End quote Buchanan writes an interesting article , , and scary too. If Biden Wins , , , Start quote ■ The Democrats will insist that the Senate Abolish the “Jim Crow relic” known as the filibuster, and use 50 Senate Democrats to enact an agenda more sweeping than FDR’s New Deal. ■ The Democrats will shift the goal from equality of opportunity in race relations to equality of results — in income, wealth, power. ■ Reparations for slavery. ■ Pursue the Black Lives Matter demand to “reimagine policing” and to “defund the police.” ■ On immigration, open an immediate path to citizenship and the ballot box for DACA “Dreamers.” ■ End deportations. Grant amnesty to all 11 million to 22 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. ■ Abolish ICE. ■ Open America’s borders to new and higher waves of immigration to make America the most racially, ethnically, socially and culturally diverse society in the history of man. ■ Pack the Senate by extending statehood to Puerto Rico and D.C., adding four new Democratic senators and making us a bilingual nation. ■ Pack the Supreme Court by adding two new justices. ■ Raise taxes on payrolls, personal incomes, corporations, capital gains and estates. ■ Accelerate an end to carbon emissions by halting all offshore drilling and ending any reliance for energy, on coal, oil, gas or fracking. ■ Free education for all from prekindergarten through college. ■ On and on the agenda runs. But again, without the abolition of the filibuster, a GOP Senate minority could block this agenda that is designed to create a new American nation unlike the one we have known." Perhaps at some future point the American electorate will suffer and agonize sufficiently and severely enough -- so that their agony and suffering will cause them to permanently abandon the national cancer of Liberalism It is reasonable to believe that if Biden wins in November our next POTUS will SOON be K. Harris and she may be the final "cure" for the the national cancer of Liberalism. The American electorate needs to "get a belly full" of cancerous Liberalism to where they will, de facto, eliminate Liberalism-Marxism-Socialism out of American politics once and for all time. On the assumption that the present polls are correct and Biden wins in November, it may be that the new POTUS ~ ~ K. Harris and the Democratic Party will, in the next 4 years, be the final and permanent DEATH of American Liberalism-Socialism. Maybe the American electorate can only learn "the hard way" ~ ~ the way of sustained agony and suffering. Time will tell. I make no predictions. I am only speculating here. JAG
Chew on this, dear: -Total nonfarm employment grew by nearly 6.7 million since the president took office, -the number of unfilled job openings stood at 6.8 million. -Household income grew; poverty decreased, and paychecks grew 2.5% after inflation. -The jobless rate has been at or below 4% for the most recent 22 months — all under Trump. It hasn’t been that low for that long since a 50-month streak ending in January 1970. -Home prices reached record levels; homeownership increased. -the labor force participation rate — which went down 2.9 percentage points during the Obama years — is up a bit under Trump. -Manufacturing jobs increased under Trump...the number is up by 487,000 under Trump. That followed a net decrease of 193,000 under Obama. -The economy grew somewhat faster under Trump https://www.factcheck.org/2020/01/trumps-numbers-january-2020-update/ Are these results perfect? Not by a mile...Can you nitpick? Yes you can and yes you will. But these results are incomparably better than those of all Trump's predecessors all the way back to and possibly including Ronald Reagan. The Bushes and Obama are not even in the same league when it comes to results
The growth of a country's GDP isn't nitpicking. Anyway, you didn't contradict my numbers. Probably because they are accurate. In the end, you'll soon find out whether "Trump's extraordinary record" was enough to convince voters.
Dude, Your post had literally one number (GDP 2.6%) related to Trump's record LOL. The rest was non-sensical blah-blah-blah. My rebuttal provided a dozen numbers, amazing unemployment rate, an insane number of job openings, excellent labor participation, skyrocketing number of manufacturing jobs (after Obama's loss of hundreds of thousands), the decrease of poverty, the paycheck growth.... Try better next time.
What you don't seem to understand is that the employment rate only matters if it makes a country's economy grow. Under Trump, before the pandemic, GDP growth was low. Even worse, this growth was only achieved thanks to the historical indebtedness of the state. Because of the pandemic and its appalling management, Biden will be the third Democratic President to inherit a crumbling economy left behind by a Republican.
Gee, why don't you try to sell this mysterious economic theory of yours to millions of African americans who got gainful employment during Trump's years, to tens of millions lifted out of poverty, to hundreds of millions of Americans whose pay check, house worth and 401K plans literally skyrocketed, to the residents of countless ghost towns all over the flyover country brought back to life by hundreds of thousands of manufacturing jobs the Trump administration repatriated from China and created...
Don't have to.... they're still voting blue (those that won't be suppressed by Republican efforts) 8% Trump Black vote in 2016. https://fivethirtyeight.com/feature...among-black-voters-heading-into-election-day/ 10% would be amazing and possible, but I wouldn't bet on it..
You asked for evidence of Biden enthusiasm. I provided evidence of Biden enthusiasm Now you are off on your Hillary tangent.... Clearly must be around post 300 of EVERY thread...
