2024 Predictions

I'm surprised we've gotten so far in to the New Year without someone starting one of these threads. If there was one started already I couldn't find it. In any case these are my predictions for 2024:

1. Trump will not be President, no matter what happens in the elections or multiple court cases.

2. The House GOP will lose it's majority.

I've usually posted longer lists than this, but as things get crazier and crazier, it's getting harder to make predictions. Multiple black swans could swoop in and mess up things and this year, likely will.

 

I have no clue....so I will just do my voting thing and see what happens.

 

Republicans will win the presidency but I agree the house will be democrat

 

Trump wins presidency. Liberals riot in multiple cities and death toll reaches 100+. Liberals on this forum call it a peaceful protest.

 

Ah, good thread. Here are my predictions for 2023 from last January. I guess my batting average is slightly over 50%. My biggest mistake was predicting a recession.

As to the predictions for this year:

-Trump will win the GOP nomination.
-Trump will be elected president.
-The presidential election will be close and contested.
-Inflation will be in the rear view mirror by the time of the election.
-The economy will muddle along, but righties will continue claiming it is terrible, until the second Trump is elected, and then it will be great again.
-Israel will not be able to destroy Hamas, so the war in Gaza continues throughout the year.
-The Ukraine war will continue in a stalemate.
-Congress will continue its dysfunction, with the GOP led House getting nothing done other than impeachment proceedings and investigating Hunter.
-The Dems will lose the Senate
-The stock market will go up, go down, or stay the same.

Trump wins his insurrection court case, and the courts grant him full immunity for any act while President - then, Trump wins the 2024 election. Biden, seeing that it's now legal to use fake slates of electors (remember, Trump wins his court case) has VP Harris (in her role as President of the Senate) chose the fake electors that give the win to Biden/Harris. After which, Biden sends Seal Team Six to deep six Trump and the Conservative Supreme Court Justices. Biden instantly retires, knowing that he has full immunity as President and VP Harris becomes President and appoints 5 new SC Judges. If Republicans threaten to impeach her, Harris will simply have them taken out, because she is now immune from criminal prosecution (per Trump's winning court case) and can simply keep removing Senators to sleep with the fishes until they are too afraid to impeach her ...

All this happens because Republicans don't understand that the power they are trying to give Trump REMAINS with the office of President - they are not unique to
Trump. And Democrats will then remain in power forever because Republicans weren't willing to hold Trump accountable for his fake elector bull crap and Democrats realize that if the Courts don't convict Trump - they can use the fake elector/ VP scheme for decades without fear of being punished.

 

Biden just wants to eat ice cream in peace. Leave the poor man alone.

With 2023 gone 2024 will be interesting

Trump will win the GOP nomination but not in the landslide some believe.

he will win Iowa next week but not BIGLY

desantos returns to Florida with his GOP super majority and the GOP will continue to use him as a puppet ..Nikki Haley will attempt to be trumps running mate ,but she is not mentally ill ..it will take a crazy person to be trumps running mate

trumps has enough political support to delay his trials until after the elections ..even if he goes to trial he will only be forced to pay a fine ..and his cult will pay the fines

Israel will finish off Gaza and it will a prison for those still alive ..Netanyahu will be gone as soon as Israel holds an election or the war is over. Bibi allowed this to happen to his homeland while he was trying to grab more power

the military industrial complex stays intact and the Ukraine russia war continues.

despite Bidens bad poll numbers people will come out and vote to keep trump out of office .

Fox is gonna lose another half billion in the next lawsuit for lying

right after the election of 2024 the stock market takes a hit.

And once Trump is burnt toast the GOP will finally regroup and search for sanity ..the GOP lunacy will finally begin to fade

yes there will always be the Qaloons and conspiracy theorists ..but they will also be called out and only other crazies will stay in their cult

Well, let's say Trump is not found guilty in court of some heinous crime, and he wins the election. Then he will be President, right?

Not sure about your #2. The House Republicans have the advantage of having an unpopular Democratic president in office. That should help them, shouldn't it?

 

I think the 2024 election will be decided by the independent/swing voters. Trump won the majority of them in 2016, but he lost them by a sizable margin in 2020. I don't think they'll vote for him in 2024, and he can't win without them.

An Independent like RFK Jr or a third party like No Labels may impact the election. They won't win, but they could have an impact.

I do not believe Hamas will carry out a terrorist attack upon the U.S. because doing that would cement America's support for Israel at a higher level than it already is. Their useful idiots in academia are doing a fine job for them as it is.

The Ukraine war will grind on. Biden will not offer a peace plan, talks, negotiations, anything of the sort. That sort of thing is not in his skill set.

I think Israel will wipe out Hamas - at least their armed resistance - in 6-8 months. Afterwards, I expect Israel will come under heavy pressure from within and from outside Israel to cooperate in bringing about a Palestinian state. The October 7th attacks on Israel and the resulting war may be the watershed event that makes that outcome a reality.

On the other hand I am trying to constantly know what time it is, and as far as Democratic Republics go, we're pretty late in the game.

 

The GOP House is holding on by a thread and has been marred by major dysfunction.

 

Oh, I forgot:
-The Fed will start lowering interest rates, latest in the second quarter.

 

OK they've already announced they are going to do that....that's cheating!

 

- 3 more mas shootings done by the gender-confused with manifestos released 10 years later for each one that happened
- 2 more mass shootings done by straight folks (with manifestos released 5 minutes after the shooting occurred0
- they fake an injury/issue with Biden or whatever else it might take to get Kamalalalala in the oval office
- a new left wing test for newborns will be developed in the name of gender affirming care: The Mom's breasts will be painted, one with GI JOE and one with BARBIE. If the baby goes for the barbie breast first and was born male, they turn him female. If the baby goes for the GI JOE and is female, they turn her male.
- an uptick in anti-Jew violence now that the left has made it acceptable to hate Jews
- a white privilege tax on the working middle class (we can take that extra money and use it to help MS-13 border jumpers and fentanyl traffickers

If the trials take place, and Trump is found not guilty in any of them, he will win the elections. This would be his easiest path to the presidency. There is a reason why he wants to DELAY the trials despite the fact that, if he weren't guilty, he would breeze into the WH.

 

I don't agree. Most pro-trumpers don't give a crap about the fake witch hunt trials and it would not affect their voting. I could care less about that poll that says otherwise (I don't trust polls and I know lots of right wingers that lie on polls so they don't go on the democrats hit list). Trump being cleared of everything wouldn't make never-trumpers vote for him.

 

Of course. MAGAs don't mind electing a criminal who wants to become a dictator. But there aren't enough of them to elect Trump.

 

There is a popular big demonstration, lots of them, and both Bidden and Camel hair get removed and someone sensible is brought in by
democratic means and the US starts behaving like a normal responsible country*

I think:

Biden will win
Reps will give him the trump-treatment
Americans will have more hatred for their countrymen with opposing beliefs.
Government will continue to spend like theres no tomorrow.
The 23rd gender will be discovered.
I will join the Calfornia exodus.
This forum will have daily Trump threads. (AKA tan-Trumps)

 

I predict a member of the United States congress will punch another member in the face in the Capitol.
