It is alarming to me that people would believe any myths that europe holds a candle to USA. MY friend jsut returned from Italy where people simply wont return things to retailers because the custoemr service idea doesnt exist. Its dont liek it screw you. And local governmetn are massively jelous fo any outside business or competition to a maniaical degree. His brother bought a house and he cant cut down a tree in his yard with out local town approval. My experience in Ireland and England were small streets, tons of provincialism, massivly small scale of everything from apartmetns to cars to food portions and (*)(*)(*)(*) service and variety, all things we take for granted in usa.
