Nothing is ever done to try and curb mass shootings. What do we do with the mentally ill? Prescribe them drugs and hope they take them.
With drunk driving, much has been done. Hasn't stopped it, but it has slowed down.

These stats are the best argument for all responsible American citizens being armed and prepared to instantly defend themselves and other innocent people from harm with personal firearms. Firearm safety training should begin in school with an unbiased instruction of the U. S. Constitution. Marksmanship qualification should be required prior to high school graduation. Citizens should qualify at the government's expense as it is an enumerated right. We can look at primary and contributing factors for violence but we shall not allow criminal acts to negatively affect the citizens rights.

Well, when the vast majority of mass shootings occur in the city limits of Baltimore, Chicago and St Louis, all Democratically run cities then the amped up in the media is no louder than a ping from your phone.

 

Because, according to the Democrats, when blacks kill it's an inner city problem caused by white privilege. I remember in Baltimore after the Freddie Gray incident the police backed off from the stop and frisk policy. In less than one year the murder rate soared and minorities in Baltimore were screaming for police protection.
