Around mid year, May or June, I think, taking into account the rate of infection, hospitalization, and deaths, I opined that we would see 300,000 dead by years end. Truthfully, while saying that, I felt there was some hyperbole. And yet hear we are at Dec. 4, and the current no of deaths stands at 277,622 with a daily rate of nearly 3,000. Many, if not most of them could have been prevented by implementing basic precautions ie: wearing a mask, social distancing universal testing, contact tracing, quarantine, etc. All simple, basic, proven effective tools which a strong, science driven administration would be expected to implement. Unfortunately, we had Trump. Well, he is done, and we have an incoming president with hands on experience re: H1N1 and Ebola. The medical etablishment will probably be granted near dictatorial powers, and the next 6 months could be brutal, and may well cost Dems the next election. Sometimes doing the right thing is ungodly costly.

 

If you believe the numbers generated by bogus tests and career bureaucrats with vested interests, you might best be described as credulous.

Not to mention propagandists on the boob tube and print media.

 

It's really amazing. Trump literally was rushed to the hospital with Covid symptoms, and came and out declared his life was saved by the Covid treatment
at Walter-Reed, and yet many of his supporters are still claiming doctors lie about Covid and that it is basically all a hoax.

The tests have somewhere between 74-64 percent accuracy given the room for error. That doesn't include the MASS false positives from previous tests.

People are getting sick. That part is not a hoax, it is real.

The hoax is that the cause of death listed on certificates is being manipulated, and there are many whistleblowers who have been pointing that out since the start.

The hoax is that the very cornerstone of this "crisis" is a bogus test never meant to be used for diagnostic purposes.

The hoax is that while mom & pop stores have been shut down, large corporate stores have flourished. The hoax is that the CARES Act has plundered the US Treasury.

The hoax is that it was all planned in the halls of the World Economic Forum.
