A couple clicks of a mouse, a couple taps on a keyboard, and POOF - a years' worth of green tips.
    I love America.

I prefer non-steel tipped, since I don't want to pay for someone else's steel targets ;)

I prefer to wander through a gun show and buy large boxes of reloads done by a reputable company in our area for cash.

Then I wander to another table and buy non target shooting ammo. Not so much at a time, but cash is cash

I found a 62 gr OTM round for $0.30 each, which is about what my cost of materials would be to make a similar round with free brass and no brass prep. It shoots just like my handloads, too.

What about brass, do they require it to be returned for the next purchase?

You yanks have no idea how lucky you are. Ammunition is expensive here and if you're caught with steel core you're going downtown.

I think we only buy it because it's cheap. I think I've only ever owned a 20 round box, and that was to compare ballistics to the 62 grain FMJ and OTM I compete with.

The 223 Wylde is 1:8; the others are 5.56NATO in 1:7. It's generally understood that once you get to the 75/77 grain bullets like the Hornady HPBT or the SMK that you need something fast than 1:9 to stabilize the heavier bullets, but I live at 5,000 ft above sea level and find in my bolt 223 that 1:9 will stabilize the 75 gr AMAX quite well. Those rounds are too long to fit in an AR15 magazine, though.

Just bought a box of 150 of them for $69. Zeroed my main AR with them last weekend.

I have a bottle of 5000 BB's but no BB gun. There are some neat BB guns I've been considering. What kind do you have? Or are ya just being snarky?

It's my kid's BB gun from when he was a kid; all I know is that it is a Daisy Rifle; I bought them for him as a joke at a garage sale since he has a rifle that fires bullets.

That's cool. I like airguns nearly as much as any other kind of gun and would love to get a nice one, but the ones I like are rather pricey so it's just not in the cards for me yet. My kids see me looking at pellet rifles online and ask why in the world am I looking at toy guns when I already have real ones. That earned them the "these are not toys" lecture. ;)

I have a Benjamin marauder in .25 cal.
Cheese-it’s at 25 yards, saltines at 50 yards isn’t really challenging. Clay pigeons at 100 yards is very repeatable.

I like those, looks comfortable. Do you have the adjustable stock? Does it wiggle around a bit or does it lock up tight?

ETA: Just looked around real quick online, this one is still my favorite. Gotta save a bit first though.

If you come across some politically incorrect 5.56X45 mm 55 gr. M-193 ammunition, I'm interested.

    You need a M-16A1 or a pre 1980's AR-15 or Mini-14.
