I have read of some research in parapsychology that actually could be at least somewhat effective in
preventing attacks like this from happening.

Helen Wambach Ph. D. regressed 1088 volunteers, four thousand years in time, while they were
in a hypnotic trance.

Over sixty percent of volunteers were women, but fifty percent of past lives were of men. For some reason,
(and I don't claim to fully understand why), women see themselves as men in some sort of visions of what
they perceive as "past lives" and men see themselves as women in these.

Those volunteers saw themselves all over the racial spectrum. White volunteers saw themselves as black,
Chinese, Japanese and First Nations in past lives.

IF...... five or ten or twenty..... .convicted murders who had killed people due to racial hatred.... were to be
hypnotized and asked questions, especially about what they perceive as past lives as a member of the
group of people that they hate, could a documentary about this proposed study begin to turn the tide against racial violence..... from all sides?

At the minimum.... it would certainly have an effect on those volunteers.

The men in the Helen Wambach Ph. D. research who perceived what seemed like past lives as women.......
in which they died while giving birth.......... pretty much freaked them out. Very traumatic for the volunteer.

I read both of Helen Wambach Ph. D.'s books back in the '90's and I am convinced that they have the potential to transform race relations.

Well over sixty percent of Dr. Wambach's volunteers were women.... but almost exactly fifty percent of past lives viewed/ perceived.....were of men!

White people see themselves as Black and Japanese and Chinese and Aboriginal in past lives. Roughly ninety percent of past lives viewed would be described as "poor" which is almost certainly not what would happen if people were simply remembering scenes from movies that they viewed as a child or teenager.

Belief in the absurdity of police oppression or racial oppression of blacks is making some people commit atrocities, and there you are cheering them on.

 

Not only that, but killing innocent people because of perceived wrongs committed by others who happen to share a uniform is just disgusting. It's a part of our group-based, tribalistic thinking, to group individuals together according to some cue and attack them all accordingly.

I had some free time to watch several documentaries this morning.

One was on the Barrio Aztecas and the other was about the Hells Angels.

In certain regions, these gangs have a great deal of influence and power.
The proposed Mexico - USA wall complex.... could lead to a massive increase in
LEGAL immigration from Mexico and South America and......

could greatly decrease the profitability of these violent drug dealing gangs.

You can just imagine the type of propaganda that these gangs put out against police officers.

When the shooting started the cops ran toward the shooting while protecting the very protestors that were bleating anti-cop rhetoric....The sentiment and rhetoric like in the OP's post is what's really to blame for those dead cops, not the actions of the officers.

 

Why were those 5 policemen shot? Why innocent policemen shot? That was in my opinion an act of terrorism.

 

The whole "one bad apple -necessary illusion" is just that .. a necessary illusion. Obama's "overwhelming majority are not bad" comment is utter nonsense and he knows it.

The fact of the matter is that "People - the raging masses" are ignorant, corrupt, nasty, self centered, selfish, lack moral integrity and so on.

Police are "People". They are no better and worse than the raging masses from whence they came. They are not on some Pedestal of moral integrity.

One of the big problems that as rights and freedoms are stripped away from citizens, Police powers have been increased.

Power corrupts and more power corrupts more. Bad law puts Police at odds with individuals more often and increased police power gets abused more often.

Perhaps the majority, perhaps not but, a whole lot of Police have serious control issues. It is not "just a few bad apples".

Increasing police powers is going to lead to more police abuse. Decreasing individual rights and freedoms is going to lead to more police abuse.

This problem is directly a function of legislation. Police are just people doing what people do.

 

Your lives ended yesterday, but they were given a long time ago. Rest in peace, men.

Then please explain why those cops ran toward the bullets while protecting the very people who were protesting against them. Seems like high moral integrity to me.

 

Maybe they are the moderate rebels. Or maybe freedomfighters.

 

Rebels of some kind, definitely. Someone needs to start supplying them with arms and training pronto.

These are all straightforward human behaviours and how it works is that we can be all of these things some of the time.

 

The majority of cops are bad.... There are no good ones because the ones who do not commit crime turn a blind eye to the ones who do and are therefore accomplice's after the fact.

 

They are all immoral behaviors. We do not accept this kind of behavior as 'straight-forward' behaviors, at least MOST of us don't, and, to blithely accept that that is 'how it works' is, forgive me, devoid of moral integrity.

 

We should know far more about this within a few days.

 

It was only a matter of time before that which we reap abroad we will sow at home. Whatever happened to the country I loved.

 

Yeah, if anyone needs a regime change it's us. Maybe Russia or China will comply. Better yet, maybe they will find a proxy like Mexico and have them arm and train the 'moderate' rebels.
