RiaRaeb, I have to agree. And on the basis of facts.
In nations such as England, Canada, the USA and Australia, Islam is treated
like a victimized group. In Australia for instance you can make all sorts of jokes
about Christians, protest outside of churches, attack companies because they
have a Christian on the board etc. BUT YOU WOULDN'T DO THAT FOR A
    MUSLIM.
Cartoons about Jesus are plenty - try that for Mohamed and you could wind
    up in court, or dead.

There's "Islamophobia" but there's no "Christianphobia."

A "massive" attack that injures six...were they bottle rockets? Was it a misspelling? Did the press mean rocks instead of rockets? I really wonder about the objectives too.

Why... the objective is to get Israel to retaliate and kill some Gazans, hopefully some children among them.

    Sorry for being so cynical.

The Israelis attacked Gaza causing the death of 7 people after which Gaza retaliated by sending some rockets. Oh and your photo of rockets is fake. Why do Israel supporters lie all the time?

Why is it fake, Mr. Gaza expert? Is not not Gaza, or the time stamp is wrong, are they not rockets or, perhaps, this never happens in Gaza to begin with?

Or is it that the photo is from 2008 and taken in Iran. So I ask again, why do Israel supporters lie all the time?

Does it not show a rocket launch? Does it not happen in Gaza every day? WTF is the difference, Mr. Gaza Expert? :confusion:

you got some nerve posting this photo in reference to Hamas "rockets" shot at Israel.

this is a stock rocket image, taken from an article about Iran

    https://en.trend.az/iran/politics/2776711.html

these are sophisticated rockets, fired from large launch devics as you can see in the forefront of the photo.

Hamas' "rockets" are unsophisticated improvised devises made from scrap metal. They have ZERO guidance system and their explosives are poorly made. This this is why they rarely hit Israeli structures and even more rarely cause any deaths or injuries.

The photo you pulled has also NOTHING to do with Hamas, its about Iran.

    https://www.azernews.az/region/138640.html

shame on you @Dutch, spreading this kind of fake news is unacceptable.

I guess this is what we can expect when folks try to defend the IDF. Fake News and false photos.

Can you ever forgive me for the honest mistake, inadvertently posting a wrong photo of a missile launch? Sorry about that, here's a correct one, showing Hamas launching rocket toward Israel, just last week.

more proof that the IDF cannot be trusted.

    its all lies and deceit.

this is what Hamas rockets look like.

they small, are crude, rarely hit their target.

even more rarely injure a soul.

This is what it is like to live in Gaza. Can you blame them for fighting back against their oppressors?

Things are still very, very bad in Gaza

    https://www.independent.co.uk/voice...nald-trump-us-jerusalem-embassy-a8632031.html

This was 5 days ago when there was concern that this would escalate to a 2014. They were suggesting the EU got involved as clearly Trump would allow Israel to do anything. They have plenty of other problems. The US has cut aid to the UN so many workers are being laid off, they think possibly the schools will soon shut. On top of that with 18,000 injured in the protests they have little ability to give most people medical treatment. Things are getting very very bad in Gaza.

    So what?

Unemployment is at 44%? I’ve just been to a place where unemployment is at over 50%, and these people not causing half the problems Palestinians are causing to their neighbors.

No I have not. The material fact is, over the last 10 days, Hamas has launched 500 or so rockets into Israel. That is an undeniable fact.

The immaterial part of my post is a picture, depicting rocket launch.

WTF difference does it makes what kind of rockets are pictured? The fact remains; over the last 10 days, Hamas has launched around 500 rockets into Israel. Are you gonna call that a lie? Of course not; you gonna call picture a lie and by doing that, try to drive attention from the fact, 500 rockets were indeed launched by Hamas into Israel. That’s what you and @truth and justice do.

You're comparing Gaza to the Holocaust?

If the Palestinians were civilized, there would be peace.

FACT: The Israeli Supreme Court found in the Elon Moreh case that the IDF had been systematically confiscated privately owned Arab land in the West Bank and then giving the land to be used by civilian settlements.

The Israeli Supreme Court declared that the West Bank is legally under the authority of the 1907 Hague regulations which govern the use of occupied territory conquered in war. Those regulations and the Geneva Conventions make it very clear that private land can only be confiscated by the Occupying Power to be used for purely security purposes, such as a fence, military base, minefield, etc.

The Israeli Supreme Court found that the IDF was in violation of international laws that the State of Israel had ratified, and the Elon Moreh settlement had been built contrary to international law.
