I'm tired of the whole lot of them, throw them all out and start fresh.

I'm sure all used car salesmen, are not dishonest either, but the largest majority would be out of business if they were up front and cared as much about their customers as they do themselves.

I don't hate them as much as I don't trust them as far as I can throw them, and it would probably be much easier to compile a short list of those who don’t take advantage of the office. You may be right though, there may be a "few" who actually care, but that will be taken out of them once the corruption begins and they see there is no ethics in politics.

Most of the pros (corporate sock puppets) have already been sized up, and thinned out, long before they get into positions of actual power anyway. They get where they are by making deals and using the system.

One thing is for sure, whether you wish to acknowledge it or not, if they proudly wear the two party brand, they are a major part of the problem whether they realize it, care to believe/accept it, or not.

That's a good start on half of the problem, but why do you assume the other side isn't equally as absent of ethics? Oh that's right, you like most are delusional, and just can't accept the reality that your side is just as crooked if not more at times.

That's liberal democrat logic for you. Watch the US wallow in a pigsty of enethical insider corruption until you can get more corrupt democrats in office.

Again... I did NOT frame this thread in any kind of partisan context. You're just looking for any pretext to give me a jab in the ass, fair or not. You show yourself for what you are....

"etc" doesn't fullfil my question. I think it would be easier to put up those that haven't prospered from the legislation they endorse or vote for.

Used car salesmen are exactly that, salesmen. They do their job to make themselves money, that is their job. The congress and other elected officials are there to make the country better for the citizens they represent.

That is particularly who I want to see. Especially if any of the candidates for president are on that list of "didn't". It is a matter of vetting those that are working towards the highest office in the land and punting those that take part in self profiteering.

What else do you need to know? The system is ether compromised and/or broken. It needs to be fixed/neutered and we cannot depend on the two party scam or professional politicians to do it.

I do agree. But we should have a moral perspective to look up to and show anyone new who to emulate. It can't just be a "Don't like these people." There needs to be a "Be like this person" or else the process will just start over. I would love to put up Jesus for congress to follow an example of, but unfortunately the ACLU would shoot that down like a "friend" gets shot down on a Chenney hunting experience.

Politicians are salesmen, and magicians too. They are peddling a divided ideology, as they use misdirection to accomplish their (well organized) criminal (what should be) activities, so as to keep the peasants arguing over tainted issues, while them and their masters loot the till, manipulate the world, so as to be beneficial to themselves and their real bosses, rich/elites.

Not to mention the organized religious community would just crucify him.

The only way to fix this mess is to audit each and every elected official whenever they enter or leave an elected position. Take the outside money out of politics, by only allowing individuals who can cast an actual vote for a potential candidate, be the only parties that can pay ($100 per head so there is no favoritism), and eliminate the control the two dominating parties have on the process (election reform).
