Yes, Arabs are Semites.. Look it up for yourself.

    Semites

a member of any of the peoples who speak or spoke a Semitic language, including in particular the Jews and Arabs

    - - - Updated - - -

The Sumerian archaic (pre-cuneiform) writing and the Egyptian hieroglyphs are generally considered the earliest true writing systems, both emerging out of their ancestral proto-literate symbol systems from 3400–3200 BC with earliest coherent texts from about 2600 BC.

They have since found writing in northern Greece that dates to 7,000 BC.

The Dispilio tablet was discovered by a professor of prehistoric archaeology, George Xourmouziadis, in 1993 in a Neolithic lake settlement in Northern Greece near the city of Kastoria. A group of people used to occupy the settlement 7,000 to 8,000 years ago. The Dispilio tablet was one of many artefacts that were found in the area, however the importance of the table lies in the fact that it has an unknown written text on it that goes back further than 5,000 BC. The wooden tablet was dated using the C12 method to have been made in 5260 BC, making it significantly older than the writing system used by the Sumerians.

It is thought that human beings developed language c. 35,000 BCE as evidenced by cave paintings from the period of the Cro-Magnon Man which appear to express concepts concerning daily life. And yet, the writing language emreged in 3500 -3000 BCE.

It dated to 5,260 BC and not 7,000 BC.

Then we have to accept that we have Jews that are proven Semites and we have destructive Arab <CALAMITOUS> Semites by the way they behave all over the world i.e. Iraq, Syria, Egypt, Libya, Chad, the US, France, Brussels and elsewhere in Europe. Did I miss something?

Margot, still dying to know how you and your Canaanite buddies are getting along. Have you found them a flat so they can form their own 'mini nation' or at least, get a modern day culture going with their own Oprah Spin off so they can get creds as an ethnic group?

Maybe the denialists at IHR or your Arab U can help.

So no Canaanites forming their own nation I take it. Guess that leaves the Jews as the only game in town as per nations that existed in the Levant prior to there ever being a state called 'PALESTINE' (2012)

There was a confederation of Canaanite city states.. They were prosperous .. The Hebrews were just an unaffiliated Bedouin tribe of Canaanites.

Then the Kingdoms of Judea and Israel and now the nation internationally known as Israel and by some the 'Zionist Entity.'

No Canaanites though, and I have some buddies that party a lot with some strange characters but nothing about an ancient peoples of the Levant other than Jews.

The area now known as Lebanon first appeared in recorded history around 4000 BC as a group of coastal cities and a heavily forested hinterland. It was inhabited by the Canaanites, a Semitic people, whom the Greeks called "Phoenicians" because of the purple (phoinikies) dye they sold.

I tend to go along with this brain storm... Have you got anything more detrimental on the ancient Jewish inheritance.
You see, I for one do not agree that what the Arab/Muslim conquered in the past is their's and cannot be reversed!

Arabs were in Palestine and the Levant long before Islam .. Read your Bible.. Try Ezra. .. and Sargon 2 settled 4 Arab tribes in Samaria 700 BC.
