If you really read Snopes article they called it "mostly false". Now based on the fact these were kids as young as 12 you will usually not find out what really happened. In cities with liberal mayors, and Minneapolis has one that is full on bat **** crazy "woke" and left of left, lots o' stuff gets swept under the rug so as not to upset visitors to that fine sanctuary city.
Make no mistake the Metro Transit Police have their hands full of problems on the light rail lines in all cities and Minneapolis is no exception. Regardless of the caterwauling of lefties here, and great Snopes "debunking" a story that has many shaking their head, kids of any age with metal pipes walking or hanging around late night on light rail platforms or bus stops should give one cause for concern for their safety. There are several hundred thousand issued carry permits in that state and god forbid one of these pipe carrying children meets an unfortunate end.
