Who is this "we" you mention?

Once again you display your lack of reading comprehension. I'm done here.

    Everyone reading.

It’s crystal clear. There is nothing in the constitution that allows the government to remove your constitutional rights, other than via due process. Executive order by the president or state governors do not and can not take away constitutional rights.

I think we'll be hearing a lot more stories about citizens protesting in the coming weeks.

The power-lusters killed the economy, stole our liberties, and all under the cover of a real threat, the Chinese Flu. They are power-hunger authoritarian dogmatic vampires sucking the blood out of life. The country needs a good dose of rebellion to remind these power-hungry blackguards who works for whom.

Blackguard (Blackard): English, Scottish, and northern Irish: of uncertain etymology: perhaps a derivative of the nickname black heart, or from blackguard, a Tudor term denoting a group of the lowest-class menials in a household. Perhaps also an altered spelling of German Blackert.

Lowest-class menial --the perfect definition of a politician.

Attempting to restrict access to a medication, based on a talking point is not being pro-choice by definition. I think it's very simple actually.

Mass Transit and High Density Housing, two things that many of the Rich Wealthy Whites on the Left demand should be forced on the rest of us, are deadly. Have you seen what's happening in Japan right now?

New wave of infections threatens to collapse Japan hospitals.

Hospitals in Japan are increasingly turning away sick people as the country struggles with surging coronavirus infections and its emergency medical system collapses.

An ambulance carrying a man with a fever and difficulty breathing was rejected by 80 hospitals and forced to search for hours for a hospital in downtown Tokyo that would treat him. Another feverish man finally reached a hospital after paramedics unsuccessfully contacted 40 clinics.

Many hospital emergency rooms are refusing to treat people including those suffering strokes, heart attacks and external injuries.

Italy’s 10% mortality rate, compared to Germany’s 1%, is partly due to the shortage of ICU facilities, Nishida said. “Japan, with ICUs not even half of Italy’s, is expected to face a fatality overshoot very quickly,” he said.

Calls for social distancing have not worked well enough in crowded cities like Tokyo, experts say, with many people still commuting to offices in crowded trains even after the prime minister declared a state of emergency.

    Mass transit kills.

Given a choice it is always better if all Americans survive political disputes.

    Nice.

Do you kiss your children/wife/mother with that mouth? Do they know how little you care about the lives of fellow human beings?

I wonder: do you consider yourself to be a Christian? Gosh, I sure hope not.

In another 50 years, the Nazis will be completely forgotten as by that point WWII would have been 150 years old. As far as comparisons to WWII, it's more accurate to compare it to Japanese-American internments. Except of course in this case the orders are universal and therefore "non discriminatory".

Though if the framers were asked, whether draconian measures are discriminatory or not, it doesn't make a difference to the person inconveniences or ruled over by the draconian fist.

I'm almost ashamed to feel this way (almost), but I find myself hoping that all of these protesters, especially the ones toting guns in a blatant intimidation attempt, would get really sick. I'm guessing, based on the behavior of this virus, that in a week or two, we may be hearing about a cluster of new infections coming from these protests, where everyone is crammed together, most without masks. Effing morons, the lot of 'em.

Interestingly, in the WIsconsin elections(I posted a thread about it with no fanfare), the people held those directly and 3 weeks later, there hasn't been an active spread among those voters.

And then they will probably all get better and protest again.

A large percentage of the US population is going to get the virus a smaller percentage will get sick and a very small percentage will die.

There is nothing to be done to change this.

But officials say they don't expect the number of known cases potentially tied to the election to grow substantially.

Wisconsin is also being robust in saying that it'll stop asking the question in another 2 weeks(IE: The time it takes to show symptoms.)

I agree with Mr. Jefferson. The virus is real, but the need to create a political narrative was also real.
