The Daughter is a political operative slandering Trump and fundraising off this case. Trump has every right to freely speak his mind on the matter, he's a Free American with the same right to speak that the rest of have. This judge clearly is compromised and needs to recuse himself from the case.

    https://archive.ph/2PZpx

The Injustice of the Trump Gag Order.

Bribed Joe's 'provocative speech is allowed because he didn’t direct anyone to do anything; Trump’s is suppressed even though he didn’t direct anyone to do anything.'

Badly compromised 'New York state judge Juan Merchan has expanded the gag order he slapped on former president Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, to include prohibiting Trump from speaking about his daughter, Loren Merchan, a Democratic political operative.'

'Merchan doesn’t contend that Trump threatened his daughter. Manhattan district attorney Alvin Bragg, the elected progressive Democrat who sought the gag order and later asked for it to be ratcheted up, has not accused Trump of incitement, much less sought to arrest and charge him for such an offense. How could he? There is no evidence that Trump called for violence or even verbal attacks against Merchan’s daughter.'

'Merchan rationalizes that Trump is a powerful figure whose followers construe his statements as directives to resort to intimidation and, potentially, violence — even if the statements do not literally say any such thing. Ergo, Trump must be silenced as if he is guilty of coercion.'

Lady Justice Is Blind vs More Special Rules For Trump

'According to Merchan, Trump must be treated differently because he’s like a government, not an ordinary defendant'

But Bribed Joe Argued Before The Supreme Court that government should be free to bully others, with the "bully pulpit".

'only two weeks ago, the Biden administration told the Supreme Court that when the government uses its “bully pulpit” — when it uses the singular power of its words to persuade others — it is not to be blamed for the abusive action of others as long as it hasn’t specifically directed them to take any such action.'

This Judge is yet another Trump-hating robed clown.

Trump has a 'constitutionally protected right to speak.'
Trump has 'a constitutional rights to campaign for the presidency.'
Trump has the right 'to mount a defense against criminal charges.'
The Public 'has a paramount interest in robust debate in connection with an election for president — the most significant office in the national government.'

These clowns want to exercise unjust government control, and then gag and suppress legitimate speech that calls them on their unjust acts.

He changed to Right-Wing extremism. That was his downfall.

    https://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-new...-attacked-know-david-depape-suspect-rcna54588

The suspect accused of violently attacking House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s husband early Friday appeared to have far-reaching and at times contradictory political positions, according to an early dive into his background.

...more recent posts that espouse positions typically associated with far-right extremism, the sources said.

Because he was just another mentally ill nutjob that gravitated to the central hive of democrat insanity.

He also hated Tom Hanks. Was that political too? What about the aliens? Were the aliens registered Republicans?

You believe what you're told without even questioning it because you want to believe the nonsense you're fed by your overlords.

Do you think this is the first time the Pelosi's have had someone try to break in? It wasn't.

Shift to MAGA Extremist, probably because of sore loser Trump hate rhetoric. Saying that "this isn't the first time" doesn't exactly help your case - in other words - there were other MAG nut-jobs.

DePape's attorneys did not try to use mental illness as a defense. If this..........

DePape appears to have discussed multiple conspiracy theories online, including ones related to voter fraud, climate change and the COVID pandemic. He has also posted antisemitic rants along with defenses of former President Donald Trump's efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election. Posts also focus on censorship by government and tech companies, and include memes about the Jan. 6 attack on the Capitol.

Posts also made reference to QAnon, an online movement supportive of Trump that, among other things, claims a global cabal of pedophiles and Satan-worshipers known as the "deep state" run America and engage in child sex trafficking.

    https://www.cbsnews.com/news/david-depape-trial-paul-pelosi-attack-what-to-know/

.......qualifies as being mentally ill then mental illness is rampant among Trump supporters. Hey, maybe you're on to something.

    LoL sure.

Leftists can't even figure out the difference between men and women.

Anything more complicated than that isn't even worth debating them over.

I just pat them on the head and send them on their way.

Judges in Trump-related cases face unprecedented wave of threats

The annual average rose from 1,180 incidents in the decade prior to Trump’s campaign to 3,810 in the seven years after he declared his candidacy and began his practice of criticizing judges. In all, the Marshals documented nearly 27,000 threatening and harassing communications targeting federal courts from the fall of 2015 through the fall of 2022, a volume they consider unprecedented in their 234-year history. There is no national data collection for threats against state and local judges. Many states do not even track the problem.

Since late 2020, Trump has ramped up his criticism of the judiciary dramatically, first amid his dozens of failed lawsuits seeking to overturn his election loss and, more recently, amid a cascade of criminal and civil litigation. In that time, serious threats against federal judges alone have more than doubled, from 220 in 2020 to 457 in 2023, as Reuters reported on Feb. 13.

Now that these judges are piercing the same immunity that protects the judges and the prosecutors, some of these corrupt judges and prosecutors can go to prison.

A dire warning may be coming soon from We The People to the Bench.

Outlaw government cannot exist without scofflaw judges.

“But court critics say that one reason judicial violations are common is because they frequently go unpunished. When litigants ask a judge to back away because of a conflict, they risk being told no, then face possible retaliation, so many don’t bother. If a litigant or an attorney files a complaint with an oversight body, there’s only about a 10% chance that state court authorities will properly investigate the allegation, according to a Contently.org analysis of data from 12 states.

The analysis shows that a dozen of these commissions collectively dismissed out of hand 90% of the complaints filed during the last five years, tossing 33,613 of 37,216 grievances without conducting any substantive inquiry. When they did take a look – 3,693 times between 2010 and 2014 – investigators found wrongdoing almost half the time, issuing disciplinary actions in 1,751 cases, about 47%. The actions taken ranged from a letter of warning to censure, a formal sanction that indicates a judge is guilty of misconduct but does not merit suspension or removal.

Actually removing a judge was a rarity. Just 19 jurists in 12 states were ordered off the bench for malfeasance, which is about three per decade for each state. And even that result is becoming less common, with only one removal in 2014 and three in 2013 among all 12 states.

The states examined – California, Texas, New York, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Indiana, Minnesota, Colorado, Washington, Georgia and South Carolina – were chosen because they comprise a representative sample from different populations and areas of the country and because they had matching data for the years 2010 through 2014.”

    That has been the result.

"With nearly 2.3 million prisoners behind bars, the United States has the highest incarceration rate in the world. Rachel Barkow, who served on the U.S. Sentencing Commission from 2013 to 2019, examines how we got to this point and what can be done to help reform the country's justice system. She currently serves as the vice dean and professor of regulatory law and policy at the NYU School of Law.

In her recent book, "Prisoners of Politics: Breaking the Cycle of Mass Incarceration," Barkow argues that years of bad policies resulted in a vicious cycle.”

Tuesday there's a hearing about whether or not there was a gag order violation, and any penalties to be imposed. Some think prison time is not out of the question, Although I think there will be a very tough warning, stating that jail time is next.
