My wife and I watched this intently. I am a republican, my wife a democrat from New York City. Some would say she could be extreme left. However, each time we watch some of these news shows about jihadists or something similar on 60 Minutes, I see her attitude change just a little more towards the right. 60 Minutes is one of my wife's favorite programs and the only 'news' she watches. Watching this coward during the interview just adds fuel to the fire and I see her slowly gaining respect for my points of view. We never argue politics. I respect her views and she does the same. One example I can think of was my wife's views of Guantanamo and the release of the "prisoners". She was all for releasing these prisoners (monsters in my eyes) back into society. Slowly my wife has now turned to have views that does recognize these monsters for what they are, robots of Muhammad. Easy to understand these points when 60 Minutes or other sources lays them out for her. New York City is my wife's home. She hated the fact that these mooslims like the one on 60 Minutes destroyed thousands of her friends, family and coworkers lives in 2001. Again though, she had the mindset of a typical New Yorker with views of welfare and other resources being available for those in need. I do not need to explain these New Yorker views to members here on PF, you know the characterization I am generalizing upon. So in ending, I want to thank 60 Minutes for making my wife and others perhaps, see the realization of things and putting it out there in black and white and in high def color on my 60" Samsung, what the real world is like.
If they want to get there badly enough, it seems that there is a way. Why anyone raised in Europe or the US would be willing to go fight for the likes of ISIS is difficult to understand until you do realize that they are being raised by people with the same mindset as the jihadi who was interviewed in the 60 minutes link. But 300 from China? Really, China? How could any Muslim immigrate to China and keep their culture and religion? That's just mind boggling.

Without the ability to denigrate the religious beliefs of others, freedom of speech, there can be no consent of the governed.
