I'd report the gun either way, just not expect results. One of my sons had a Desert Eagle .357 customized and cased- about a $3K gun, stolen from his apartment. He knew who it was, a woman, and some time later saw that person in a restaurant. He called the police (who had previously not done zip despite the named thief) and they confronted her there. She said she didn't know anything about it, and the cops said there was nothing they could do. I know of several stolen guns, never heard of any being recovered and returned to owners.

Funny how their criminal element seems to be ignore that law. You can apply that to every law that exists.

My question was: Where did he say that?

Really? You are now a mind reader?

    That is absurd.

I don't know of anyone who wants to eliminate all laws.

Then why bring up that criminals don't obey laws?

Criminals don't obey laws, if they can. However, law enforcement enforces laws and the justice system punishes the law breakers.. The problem with passing a law against guns is that only the law abiding will obey them, but the lawless won't. That puts us at risk.

What other countries have a Bill of Rights protecting gun ownership that was able to remove guns from its citizens? What real world examples are you referring to?

Do you need a sheriff to tell you guns and crime are something he would be involved with?

We have a single amendment that we have to change and / or 7 justices that we have to convince.

The constitution isn’t some holy document, it can be altered and “reinterpreted” and conservatives have made it ok for judges to change their mind in decades of precedent.

With something like 80% of gen y & z supporting sometimes major levels of gun control — this is likely to start getting more discussion than the right would like.

Robbing a bank does not put most of us personally at risk.

This is the worse possible situation. Anti gun laws tend to disarm the law abiding while the lawless keep their weapons.
