    My wife passed away and we were sorting out items and I came across a crochet blanket made by my wifes grandmother Betty , I gave it to my girl and she wrote this
    Tonight, I sleep below the mother moon.
    I dream of her soul dancing through the milky way.
    Perhaps to wake the etching;
    her voice a directing path.
    Her light a blanket of love
    to cover me as I sleep

    and another she wrote the Day after she passed

    The sky holds the moon at night.
    Still your child, I look up.
    I wonder, "Do you like it there?
    Did you find peace where you have traveled?"

    The sky holds many stars
    and on a clear night they shine bright.
    I am your daughter, I look for you still.
    I search the echo of sound to hear you.
    I run from cavern to dark cavern lost ...
    in momentous passageways of time past.

    Tonight, I sleep below the mother moon.
    I dream of her soul dancing through the milky way.
    Perhaps to wake the etching;
    her voice a directing path.
    Her light a blanket of love
    to cover me as I sleep.
