According to my links the cure appears to be alcohol, which is why it was conveniently named after a beer.

American alcohols like Jack Daniels Whiskey should be used in place of Corona because that would support American jobs, and the virus requires 60 to 80 proof.

Why aren't hospitals giving people shots of whiskey instead of ventilators which the President says is the last resort?

You'd have to be drinking constantly anytime you may be exposed for alcohol to meaningfully prevent infection, and I don't see any reason how it would cure an infection that has already started replicating in your cells, unless you achieved a blood alcohol content that would kill you long before you achieved it. You would probably also have to inhale it for any meaningful prevention, which I would imagine causes other problems... It does stand to reason however that if there is any virus attempting to take hold in the mucus membranes in your mouth or esophagus, that drinking a high-alcohol content beverage may help you resist it from taking hold there, and technically, I suppose, might make the difference between your immune system fighting it and your immune system succumbing to it, in very specific circumstances, like for example, if you managed to imbibe the virus without inhaling much of it.

I would also recommend scotch, because its more flavorful :)

80 proof is 40% alcohol. If whiskey is the cure, then I've been immune for decades.
