I'll remain in consultation with my doctor. The idea that you know what is the best choice for me is ridiculously presumptive. For one thing, you do not know if I have natural immunity. The Israelis are finding that natural immunity is 7 times stronger than vaccine immunity.

So get the vaccine too, we are told in the bums rush to get everyone to roll up their sleeves for jabs. Well, a very good study performed in the UK (www.pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/34216472/), and specific to the Delta variant, found that previously infected health care workers who subsequently got vaccinated, were 3.5x more likely to get a symptomatic breakthrough infection with Delta, than if they were not vaccinated at all. In other words, there may be times when getting the vaccine actually triples to quadruples your risk of getting COVID! Show some respect for what you don't know.

While we have vaccinated getting infected all over the place, a very large study at the Cleveland Clinic of over 50,000 individuals found that no (0%) of individuals previously infected with COVID, were re-infected regardless of vaccination. (https://www.medrxiv.org/content/10.1101/2021.06.01.21258176v2). But, not a peep out of our CDC about natural immunity, it's just "get the shot! get the shot! get the shot!"

The CDC and national "experts" have blown this emergency, repeatedly, starting with their complete faceplant to rapidly supply medical providers with trustworthy covid tests. That failure made early containment impossible and they have blown several calls since, like telling the vaccinated that they could unmask and gather in large crowds.

Prior to that Fauci, in early March said "sure! go on a cruise!" While a cruise ship was in quarantine in SF Bay with the dead being removed daily. And when Nancy Pelosi went into the large crowds in Chinatown and urged everyone to join her, in late March, nobody at the CDC breathed a word, like "That's NOT a good idea!" And despite Biden's reckless border policies, the CDC has not used it's emergency authority to order the closure of the border to infected illegals. That failure is not due to the science of virology, it's due to politics. When "science" starts acting in response to politics rather than science, don't be surprised when this triggers a political response.

 

Republicans aren't getting vaccinated and that keeps the damn pandemic going. Why would anyone in their right mind elect Republicans like Abbott and DeSantis?

 

Fake News. Young people and Black People are the most resistant to vaccination, and both have good reasons. A good portion of the surge are the reckless vaccinated and Biden allowing these variants to pour across our borders.

The vaccinated are catching and spreading this disease. You seem to be the only person still unaware of this.

Apparently, people who had covid are 50% less likely to be reinfected if the have one dose of an mRNA vaccine.
