    From what I've read and heard, had Biden not so passionately demanded the firing of a prosecutor that allegedly was engaging in investigations that could lead to his son, things might have gone very differently. I don't know how you prove it one way or the other.

    Interesting problem here.... Seems that several of the Democratic Senators have also now been identified as having played this game. Durbin, et al, for example have suggested that they would withhold their votes for appropriating funds unless the Ukraine bowed to their demands... Yikes... It's getting dangerous out there for democrats....
