A small step in reducing the sway of extremists in your belief system

    Extremists of your religion are hurting you moderate ones, and non-believers too, of course. A good example is that 11 year-old Downs girl who is being threatened by extremists (some moderates appear to be speaking out against that) in Pakistan for burning the Qur’an.
    Here's a way that moderates (no one feels they are an extremist, so this includes everyone reading this, I argue) can help solve that.
    Please affirm (re-type it, or give a thumbs up, or whatever) the following statement, and we'll slowly start to make the world a better place:

    "I believe that any book that says to HARM blasphemers in any way did get that wrong, and I encourage people to improve said book where it says to harm/kill blasphemers."



    I affirm this! Anyone else have the courage to do so? If you don’t do it....are you basically an extremist (ie prioritizing religious dogma over people's lives)??
