    Your point being...?
IOW, recorded entries have to be replaced with guesses so as to impart to the dataset (or subset, if you prefer) the appearance of adequacy. Got that about right, haven't I?
That train left the station 58 years ago.
Dunno why the hell not, since you are clearly sanguine about pretending to fix a problem and pretending like everything is OK.

No, the data altered to create a spurious warming.

Well, there are datasets -- in fact, nothing but such datasets -- that are actively being altered and managed to conform to AGW theory.

I wonder how this poll will go over the next year or two?

How much longer will central Antarctica save our coastal communities?

How much longer will the addition of water to Antarctica protect low lying land?

I finally have another possible role in mind for AboveAlpha.......
I tried my best to convince him to enter the DNC leadership race back in 2015........
I eventually came up with another role for him of "Artistic Director for the NSA - CIA" and now..... I have another one in mind.........
    AboveAlpha's thought patterns.....
    much as in the movie
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Transcendence_(2014_film)

... .can be used to form the Mr. Gordons....... (a Cyborg)...... in the updated
Remo Williams films that I feel could even be used to positively alter the USA - North Korea relationship..............

Mitt Romney, The White Horse President Prophecy and North Korea.

I have nominated AboveAlpha for a role that is crucial in Jewish latter day predictions.......... He deserves to be prayed for and seriously considered for that role...... that frankly is up there with King David or Moses........ or more directly..... the final King Cyrus type like President Donald J. Trump.

If you are in certain parts of Nova Scotia, Canada where the world's highest tides take place........
    it could be pretty soon?!

This is good news for President TRump though......
    M. L. A. Lenore Zann may be willing to do her "damsel in distress" act.... and President Trump can perhaps decide to come to her rescue.... with a trillion or so?!

Please notice post #144 at that link.......
isn't this idea so much more practical than a CARBON TAX?????

In one sense...... in ways that a Carbon Tax would never be able to alleviate fast enough!

A carbon tax will NOT work fast enough to address WAIS collapse.

Oh climate change is real. It is ALWAYS changing. In the past it has been much hotter and much colder than it is now. The question is--------are the small changes we see now man made.

There is a lot more climate science out there than you are exposed to by Democrats.

Pour more concrete, cut 5000% more trees than necessary to build a road or highway, keep the forests ill-managed and burning. Always drive, never walk.

Greenhouse gases can also insulate earth. I believe in fact they do insulate the earth and this means less solar radiation gets to Earth. To blame man for climate at the very least hints man is in control over climate and has tot simply pull the right lever and the search chills. Believers never describe the chilling factor.

Think of it like this. You have a blanket. And you lie beneath the blanket. When it is cold above you, why are you warm?

Because you supply the heat that the blanket holds in to keep you warm.

But you also are not warming the room. At least very little.

Greenhouse gasses work both ways. The sun supplies most of our heat.

Greenhouse gases do not absorb radiation from the sun.

Nah, that's not how it works. GHGs are generally transparent to incoming shortwave radiation, but opaque to outgoing longwave radiation. That's what makes them greenhouse gases.

Actually...the chilling factor that GHGs produce is the smoking gun for GHG warming. While the troposphere and hydrosphere warm the stratosphere cools. This happens because GHGs trap heat at the surface. This heat that would normally escape the troposphere no longer gets the opportunity to warm the stratosphere so it cools. There is no other physical process that can explain this unique observation. Literally...none.

The amount of cracking and sliding of ice off the land based Greenland Ice Pack in 2012 and 2019 seems kind of scary indeed!

Greenland has over 99 percent of the ice there as it had in 1900 reports tell us.

Which is great news but because the ice on Greenland is land based if cracking and sliding of that ice picks up steam.......... we will need to do some serious thinking about turning deserts green through mega-scale desalination of ocean water.

Thankfully.... that is theoretically possible with 2020 technology.

    Megascale Desalination
The world’s largest and cheapest reverse-osmosis desalination plant is up and running in Israel.

and doing something productive like this is a whole lot better than allowing a one hundred trillion dollar meltdown in the worldwide Derivatives markets that were seven hundred and ten trillion back in 2014.

That is called skipping the actual issue. So you equate short wave with long wave?

Greenhouse gasses are well known. But I could ask you to roam the earth to show me this vast dangerous trend if you want to.

Is it hotter in 2020 than in 1913?

    July 10, 1913

https://www.nps.gov/deva/learn/natu...e hottest air temperature ever,54°C) or above.

They alarm humans talking of the cold places they tell us are dangerous to man. But when they exagerrate, it does not help them make their case.

Iceland has lost ice. But is that dangerous? I think the correct reply is no it is not dangerous.

But it has potential to divert the Middle East in a productive direction that would be a big improvement over warfare....

After the Abraham Peace Accord turn deserts green...
