Where did I call anyone an idiot? Feel free to direct quote me or retract the lie (or show your integrity and do nether)

If I called someone an idiot my post would have already been deleted and I would have been infracted as I am not a member of the protected class here.

Have you ever been infracted for saying someone was complaining? I have

You asked that we go back on topic, I asked you two questions on the topic and here we still are with the typical boring back and forth. How fascinatingly ironic.

Is there any information on how this is actually meant to work as a deterrent? I'm not sure they'd be all that difficult to get over (in the context of swimming the river in the first place) and could even provide a convenient resting point half way across. I'm not opposed to reasonable measures to prevent illegal migration but I can't help feeling this is more for political show than practical effect.

I found something that said they are supposed to rotate toward Mexico but that won’t stop people swimming underneath - although they re talking about adding chains - and at that point I started to imagine all the Flotsam that would accumulate - which would add drag to the anchoring points which would……..

Do you want the Australian government to return any that end up here?

All it needs is to drag anchor and start clogging the flow and next thing……..

This is going to cost a MINT!!

My thoughts too. They really haven't thought it through and it is just a sound bite to appeal to their outraged worshippers. The buoys will also act like a dam causing all sorts of problems up and down stream

Federal judge will not force Governor Abbott to remove Rio Grande River buoy barrier

' the Biden administration has no interest in securing the Texas-Mexico border, DOJ is kowtowing to Mexico. Mexican officials have registered complaints about the buoy barrier and the use of razor wire along the border to prevent illegal immigrants from entering the state outside a legal port of entry.'

Too many drugs and too much sex trafficking occurring via illegal entry.

We need to get the message out. Plant land mines on the border. Spray machine gun fire at the border. Put crocodiles in the waters. Use the military to take out coyotes. Let the media report it all. Print all the pictures of migrants making it into the US dessert and their carcasses after they die. Then they won't want to come here illegally anymore. Legal immigrants are more than welcome but legal doesn't mean coming here illegally and then instantly declaring asylum.
