Maybe not political but I find this interesting. I love anthropology. What I find interesting about the Aboriginal culture is that cave paintings go back over 60,000 years, to a time when Neanderthals still walked Europe.
Interesting so should a special place be made in our constitution for the Aboriginal people? I say yes.
I like anthropology too, but do you really believe that spitting on a wall is going to last 60,000 years ?
What we should be doing is helping them adjust to the modern world. The PC bleeding heart approach is killing them.
Human hair not spit on a wall. http://www.politicalforum.com/curre...-newly-reveals-two-waves-human-migration.html
margot, they are racist trolls. Not worth your time. Unfortunately in Australia internet access is not qualified by IQ testing.
the same spit painting technique found in caves in europe have been dated to 32k ybp...conditions in the cave determine how long paintings last...
One of the times I agree with you Ian, I am glad you said almost, though. I have had some good intelligent discussions here, though this just isn't one of them. Mores the pity, good topic.
How about we put some effort into concentrating on the present, and helping aborigines to survive by snapping out of the PC wowser theme, and facing the truth. Aborigines are drinking themselves to death in epidemic proportions, violence and crime are rife in aboriginal communities, children are neglected and abused. Face up to these truths, and stop drumming the victim mentality into aborigines!
we have the same issues with our native people, ...poverty, poor/no education, drugs/alcohol, crime, repeat generation after generation... it's very difficult cycle to break out of....
Sorry to read about that, it`s sickening to see some people here promoting a mindset of denial, which prevents our aborigines from facing problems, further driving them into hopelessness.
