Subject: Heart Attacks and Water How many folks do you know who say they don't want to drink anything before going to bed because they'll have to get up during the night!! Heart Attack and Water - I never knew all of this! Interesting....... Heart Attack & Water Something else I didn't know ... I asked my Doctor why do people need to urinate so much at night time. Answer from my Cardiac Doctor Gravity holds water in the lower part of your body when you are upright (legs swell). When you lie down and the lower body (legs and etc) seeks level with the kidneys it is then that the kidneys remove the water because it is easier. This then ties in with the last statement! I knew you need your minimum water to help flush the toxins out of your body, but this was news to me. Correct time to drink water ... Very Important. From A Cardiac Specialist! Drinking water at a certain time maximizes its effectiveness on the body: 2 glasses of water after waking up - helps activate internal organs 1 glass of water 30 minutes before a meal - helps digestion 1 glass of water before taking a bath - helps lower blood pressure 1 glass of water before going to bed - avoids stroke or heart attack Please pass this to the people you care about...... I can also add to this... My Physician told me that water at bed time will also help prevent night time leg cramps. Your leg muscles are seeking hydration when they cramp and wake you up with a Charlie Horse.
Did you know a sip of vinegar will stop leg cramps or a sip of pickle juice? You can jazz the vinegar up so it is more palatable. The best vinegar is Bragg, organic apple cider vinegar. This is in case the water doesn't prevent the cramps.
Granny says, "Well - lotta good dat did... After China's Cleanup, Water Still Unfit to Drink February 20, 2013 - China aims to spend $850 billion to improve filthy water supplies over the next decade, but even such huge outlays may do little to reverse damage caused by decades of pollution and overuse in Beijing's push for rapid economic growth.
World Water Day worries about if we gonna have enough water... Will There be Enough Water for Everyone? March 22, 2013 > As the global population grows, so does the need for water. The Worldwatch Institute says increased demands for food, energy and industry, along with climate change, could lead to water scarcity in some places. The warning comes on World Water Day, March 22. See also: For Half of South Sudanese, No Clean Water March 22, 2013 — On World Water Day, Margret Kiden was able to find enough water near her home in Nyakuron East, a Juba suburb, to do her domestic chores – including the laundry for her husband and three kids.
As a kid we drank water from the faucets in the house and from the garden hose outside and as I remember it was perfectly good water. Now most people won't drink City water so we add billions of plastic water bottles to our environment each year and we're paying $5-6/gallon or more for this water. I'm guessing we still have areas in the USA where someone is releasing raw sewage into fresh and salt water systems. I'm a farmer and we farm organic although 90% of the farmers in my area do not; most people would be shocked...or 'should' be shocked, if they knew how many foreign chemicals (herbicides, pesticides, petroleum products, synthetics) from farming and other activities find their way into our water systems. I can remember 30-40 years ago government warning citizens in AZ and CA that 'we're running out of water'!! Yet in the past 3-4 decades the populations of these areas have increased significantly and the politicians are still saying 'we're running out of water'. One day, without notice, critical areas of the USA will face horrific water issues. Long ago a dude named Perceval Lowell observing Mars believed the planet was crisscrossed with canals to distribute water around the planet...some day in the future another observer might be looking at Earth and see canals crisscrossing the planet to bring water to all areas...or not...
US Drinking Water Systems Deteriorating... Nation's drinking water system needs $384B upgrade June 5, 2013: The nation's drinking water systems are deteriorating, and $384 billion needs to be spent in the next 17 years to maintain a safe supply for millions of Americans, according to the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
One thing for sure about Americans and the US government is we are incapable of proactive actions on anything. Our MO on infrastructure and facilities is to build it then over the years let it crumble into nothingness...we don't need no stink'n maintenance programs...
I always drink a large glass of water before going to bed. I rarely wake up during the night wanting to use the toilet. I also drink a glass of water first thing when I get up in the morning.
How much is immigration responsible for this? Are these effects going to be included in the calculated infrastructure costs of immigration? Somehow I don't think it will be.
When I was in my mid-30's, one day there was a little irritation when I peed and continued. Went to a dr and he was a new one. He told me I had a bladder infection and looking at my medical history he asked me if I had ever had a bladder infection b/f, yeast infection, etc.... 'no' to all questions - never had a UTI b/f. He said 'you drink a lot of water, don't you?' .... well, yeah. He said water drinkers rarely get UTI's... must be some truth to that b/c I never had another one...... I've always been a water drinker but never drink tap water. I buy purified and if I run out b/f I can buy more, I just boil a kettle of it to a hard boil for about 10 minutes. When it's cooled off and b/f it goes in the frig, I put slices of lemon in it. Lemon is healthy and the water has a nice flavor......
