Comment #123 is your comment about experts, and have nothing to do with what we are now talking about. Source: http://www.politicalforum.com/showthread.php?t=429277&page=13&p=1065646756#post1065646756
Which pantomime are you two appearing in next? I'm still waiting for someone - anyone - who can define the boundaries of the 'Land of Israel' without suggesting I just read the bible!
Resolution 181 has not, in any way, validity today, and never been valid since it was never been accepted by the two sides. It was only a propused plan in the Land of Israel, but it was and is not describing what is "the Land of Israel".
UN resolutions don't have to be accepted by outside parties, for it to be valid. The Jews accepted it in 1947, and now today the Arabs accept it
The Arabs cannot accept something that was not propused to them. Today the UN doesnt propuse Resolution 181 to the Arabs, because if so, they need to propuse it once again to the Jews as well. Moreover, the plan was a plan of UNSCOP and not of hte UNSC, which then it wasnt needed the acceptance of any sides to implement it. Furthermore, the plan needed the acceptnace of the two sides, so it could be implemented, that's why the UN offered the plan to the two sides.
UN 181 didn't have a statute of limitations for acceptance. if the Mandate is still in effect, than UNGA 181 is still valid
The UNGA 181 has lost it legitimate to implement since it was not accepted by the Arabs, and thus the validity of the plan lost.
and the Mandate lost its legitimacy since it was concluded in 1948 by the UN and fulfilled by Israel in 1949.
The document of the Mandate wasnt lost it's validity, since the UN Charter protects the rights that were granted to the Jews there until today. The document of the Mandate wasnt concluded, but it was the British Mandate that did.
the Mandate was concluded by the UN and fulfilled by Israel you can keep denying it till you're blue in the face.
I'm not denying it, but only relying on facts. The UN never concluded the document of the Madante, while they did conclude the British Madnate.
Right, you did provided a UN codument, and that one document of the UN that stated that the special committee of the UN regarding "Palestine" will stop to exist because of Resolution 181, but since Resolution 181 never been implemented nor accepted by the two sides (only by the Jews), then there is no basis for the termiantion of the document of the Mandate. Hecne, Article 80 is still protecting on the rights that were given to the Jews in 1922.
As I already said to you: The UN didnt at any time since 1948 made a disscusion regarding a modifications they want to do in the document of the Madnate, and thus by not doing that, any kind of resolutions against the settlements are not a modifications, but a seperate resolutions that been contredicted by the international law that protects the document of the Mandate that were not been emended regarding the rights that were granted to the Jews.
UNSCOP was responsible for the Mandate, and they were disbanded. the Mandate is over, stop with this silliness.
