    As per subsequent posts, apparently not. If you're specifically talking about bands that hold Christianity as the focus of their music (as opposed to musicians who happen to be Christian), they'll only represent a minority of bands so why wouldn't the also represent a minority of the most popular bands?

    I resent that attack actually (set up in your OP so you could dismiss anyone who dares ask you perfectly reasonable questions of course). I'm not downplaying the achievement of any band getting in to the charts. I'm just interested why you're "upplaying" these ones particularly.

    I'm honestly not convinced that being a Christian band is all the significant to mainstream success, positive or negative. They'll succeed or fail for the same reasons as any other bands do.
