Even if this turns out to be true trump supporters will argue that he cannot be charged while in office or that she wanted it. Like he said — paraphrasing — he could execute someone in the middle of Times Square and not lose a single supporter.

    Absolutely fascinating group of people.

The comments that she is too ugly to rape — shows some major character flaws...

You should mosey on over to the thread about Rush's cancer, for some fine examples.

Even if it is true that my cat can type out King Lear dog lovers will argue that dogs make better pets.

The above post shows graphically the thought process of the progressive left. Fascinating.

The biggest failure the left has in their attempt to understand how Trump keeps besting them is their incorrect belief that Trumps supports are blindly loyal to him. They seem to think that the only reason he continues to be supported is because of this imagines loyalty and his policies and politics have nothing to do with it. This of course ensures they never question their own policy as viable platforms to get elected on since it's the "blind loyalty' at fault. And those leftist policies are one of the main reason Trump is supported so strongly.

Your really have no true understanding about that "group of people" you find "absolutely fascinating".

"appears normal". My friend(and I mean this most respectfully), most people appear normal but in reality they have a side to themselves unannounced to the world. And the same might be very well true of Donald Trump. His comments with Lauer were disturbing, and definitely ones a rapist would make. I have no prejudgment on this case one way or another, except that there's got to be a way to get his DNA even without him giving it. Like, there's got to be blood drawn from routine tests, anything lol.

Which is of course not what I think at all, the bulk of my family are evangelical trump supporters and they argue the ends justify the means. He is “fighting for them” (even though his policies do no such thing) and he is going after the “bad people”. Packing the courts with totalitarian conservatives, project blitz, crippling government function — that is all the plan.
Selling your soul to the devil still results in going to hell — even though he might give you a short term victory.

    But thanks for playing!

    "evangelical trump supporters"

Thanks for proving my point in a matter of minutes of me making it. Cheers!

Which is the largest voting block of supporters per capita.

She's not exactly his type... I think it's a case of hoping the guy who actually had sex with her was Donald Trump

People can judge from your post and decide for themselves what you meant using that term.

But in the meantime here a flashback to your thought process...which so many on the left share.

"he could execute someone in the middle of Times Square and not lose a single supporter"

That is just a silly comment, made out of anger not logic.

You and many on the left don't think about Trump and those that support him and try to understand what they beleive and support. You just run on "Trump Rage", and that is a main reason he keeps besting the left. It's not thinking at all honestly, it's all emotions and that plays right into his hands as he knows exactly how to push the buttons that drive even more "Trump Rage" and the cycle continues.

Your getting "played" and you have been for years. It is still working for him, even better now it seems.

And so many on the left thinks he is dumb......he is a master of this and yet the left keeps bumbling into his traps.

Going into any fight, debate, game or contest so mad you can hardly see straight is not a great plan of action. Ever seen a fighter or player taunt his opponent to "get in their heads" and take them out of their "game plan" ? That's Trump....

To be fair the "Obama Rage" was there as well, it was equally silly IMO. But Obama did not use it like Trump does.

It’s like an endless conveyor belt of accusations. Why don’t they all come out at once? Why are they timed to perfection in a sequence?

You realize that came from his mouth, right?

Where have I given you the indication I am enraged by any of this? It is sad what Americans are allowing but whatever — I will jump ship when it gets too bad and continue to watch the action from elsewhere.

I really, and I mean really dislike hilary. She is a vile witch, just a nasty personality on that one.

But she had a long long string of accusations too. Now I think she was guilty of a few of them myself :)

But I think politicians as divisive as Clinton and Trump are just doomed for this kind of relentless attacks.

The impeachment was a new low IMO as it took politically motivated attacks to a new level. Already hearing Biden impeachment if he is elected talk, that is what the Dems created in 2019.....

Of course Biden seems safe from impeachment :roflol:

If I have misread in your post that your angry I apologize, I just pick up anger reading it.

Leaving is not the answer IMO, stay and try and implement change. But I get your point, if it gets beyond the point you feel you can then yeah I agree leave. Life too short not to live it in enjoyment.

I'd head to Ireland if I left. I could put up with the socialism with enough time in those pubs, drinking the worlds best booze and eating full Irish breakfast.

I believe the impeachment farce could really set a precedent for the future and was incredibly dangerous. It did nothing but deepen the divide, it was one of the most partisan things I’ve ever witnessed. On both sides.

Trump has taken more flack than any other politician in my lifetime. He genuinely gets more negative press than some of the most awful human beings that ever lived. You don’t have to like the man but I don’t think he’s actually a bad person at all. Nothing like people make out.

    Biden is definitely safe.

Well to be fair, she did come forward last year when she was selling a book:

    http://www.politicalforum.com/index...ally-assaulted-me-at-bergdorf-goodman.557638/

However she made some oddball comments in the press that made it sound like it was consensual, not actually rape. But rape does sell more books. I assume there will now another 50 plus pages on #believeallwomen

I have plenty of family in Scotland and Norway and would be fine with either.
No anger from me friend, I am sad about how my home is being ripped apart from both sides but I have other options.

Many Americans do not though — so I understand why the anger boils over.

Norway seems really nice. Too cold for me I would bet being a Texas boy, I'm not sure how I would do in snow :).

Honestly I think the whole hype on division is over played a bit. It just seems so much more prevalent due to the internet, social media, 24 hours news, walk around computers in our pockets etc. We just constantly hear about it now. It's always gone on, it's just much more vocal now.

Even the heat between politicians is over played. Not many duels going on these days anyways.

It's nothing that will tear apart this country IMO. I think the vast majority of voters do not lean either way as far as many (myself included) on forums such as this. It's easy to think this kind of of debate goes on everywhere when your in it. I really do not think it does.

You get use to it after a few years — the first winter though... rough stuff

Perhaps, I have nothing to compare it to as I have only been voting for the last 4 cycles — I voted for Obama once, voted against him the second time, voted for trump once, will vote against him next — I think I just dislike how all politicians treat our nation.

I hope you are correct — everyone just seems very on edge lately. Online personas are usually inflated but I have family members that are usually apolitical that are absolutely losing their cool — on both sides of the isle.

They say he is fighting for them. You say he is not. Is there any possibility whatsoever that they are right and you are wrong?

I have a few nutty overly passionate friends as well, but the vast majority are not.

I vote Bush in 88 and have voted for the R for POTUS each time since, did not vote for Trump. I thought and still think he is a pompous ass honestly. I do not like the way he speaks about our military. I did not vote HRC either, can not stand her.

But I will vote for him this time. Honestly the antics of the left have driven me there. I will say I think he has done a good job and will continue to as well.

Still do not like him though.

I believe they feel like he is fighting for them; destroying environmental protections, deregulation of industries that have proven to put profits over US citizens, not addressing the debt, ignoring healthcare related issues, having the largest bailout of industries he crippled, crushing diplomatic relations and absolutely demolishing civil discourse — they might be short term feel goods but they will cause long term pain.

He is a conman and a liar who has always put himself first. If other presidents even mentioned some of the things he does there would have been mass protests (remember the tea party) but him saying he would like to bypass the 22nd Amendment or to take guns and worry about the repercussions later — it’s acceptable.
