end of Assad or 3 states solution? it was wellknown that Hezbollah will stay as long as "Muscovy" plays a active role in this war. whats new? for how long the pathetic Assad´s "army" can hold against overwhelming Sunni-Arab forces?

I think that OPEC and Russia have agreed to cut production by 450,000 pbd.. so the price should go back up to about $40 a barrel.. This is not enough to help Iran or Russia.. especially since Iran wants to produce about 6 million pbd.. I don't think the market will demand that much... and in a way it puts Russia and Iran at loggerheads.

Iran's oil output surges most since 1997 as sanctions end, OPEC says...

    https://www.rt.com/business/335491-iran-oil-freeze-russia-opec/

Tehran says it will freeze oil production only when it reaches four million barrels a day. This means Iran intends to increase, not hold production, which is currently about 2.8 million barrels per day.

"I have already announced my view regarding the oil freeze and I'm saying now that as long as we have not reached four million barrels per day in production, they should leave us alone,” said Iranian Oil Minister Bijan Namdar Zanganeh on Sunday.

“When we reach this level of production, we can then cooperate with them,” he added, implying the agreement by the world’s two biggest oil producers, Russia and Saudi Arabia, to freeze production.

Iran’s reluctance to join a production freeze has resulted in a decline in oil prices. Brent was trading at $39.26 per barrel after hovering near $41 on Friday. West Texas Intermediate lost $1.18 and cost $37.32 during Monday trading on NYMEX.

Another negative factor for oil is that crude producers are now more likely to meet in April, rather than this month, according to Bloomberg sources in OPEC. Gulf delegates say it may be in Doha or a Russian city.

Russian Energy Minister Aleksandr Novak is in Tehran on Monday where he will meet Zanganeh and Iranian Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian. The Russian side has been ambiguous on the agenda of the talks, saying they will be on “cooperation between the countries in energy.”

Novak has said Tehran needs an individual approach in an oil production freeze, as Islamic Republic production is at its lowest.

Zanganeh added that Iran will be satisfied if oil prices rebound to $70 per barrel, but “no problem will arise” for the country if they don’t.

You're going off topic. Too much wishful thinking there. There is no problem between Russia and Iran, as a matter of fact Russia is supplying Iran with it's advance S-400's missile defense...so guess again.

As for the foreign fighters, they're leaving because it's a smart political move at this time, especially when they are all striving for peace.

Saudi Arabia will be OK.. Iran needs 200 million dollars in upgrades to raise production..

    - - - Updated - - -

Yeah there's a problem.. Russia and Iran are in direct competition for market share.

Litwin have you ever seen a map of Russia? Well in case you haven't, I have news for you. There are six times zones, and it goes from one end of the world to another. This is what is driving the Washington sociopaths batty. They know that without all the Russian resources the world cannot survive, so instead of working with Russia, they do what all criminals try to do, they try to take what they can by hook or by crook.

    Hey, there's Lithuania: [IMG]

Iran has been subject to sanctions since 1997.. Their current production has increased somewhat to a bit over a million bpd.

They have been buying gasoline from VZ because they have very little refinery capacity.

So what! Putin is perfectly capable of competing without overthrowing governments and destroying nations. He runs by a different set of values and standards than Washington or London... His are constructive... not destructive, so that everything is looked on in a positive light.

As an example, as a response to the sanctions he imposed an embargo so Russia could develop it's own agriculture and meat industry and bring them up to par with the EU. He sees the low price of oil in the same light. Another response was to get off the petro dollar.

Now it's not only the petro dollar, but more and more nations are using their own currencies and avoiding the American dollar... Iran is one of them, and this is what the economic war is all about. In about a month the Chinese Yuan will be going on the gold standard... so the US dollar is fighting for its life. :oldman:

Not to worry though. If Putin left office and disappeared, Litwin would soon find another "hook" to take his place for his shadow projections.

Hezbollah said it's a lie that they will leave Syria. Uhhh, maybe Litwin you should start reading some real news, not the 'fake' news you're usually prone to reading.

As for Vladimir Putin, well everyone loves those on the same end of the moral spectrum, and hates those on the opposite end ... so not being void of any sense of right and wrong myself, my preference does tend towards Vladimir Putin. ..as does this donkey.
