Why do we hate trees? Trees live and breathe, and by this point it ought to be clear that consciousness, soul, intelligence, id or ego, or whatever else or other categories anyone cares to classify such a thing as, is not likely the same historical stuff humans have long imagined themselves to be in unique possession of. Religion, why post this subject here? Well, because as Mike Crichton accurately pointed out, science has been subordinated to religion by folks like Al and Greta claiming to speak on behalf of her dear goddess, our big breasted Earth Mother, ugh, huh, whut? How shall our dear mother feed us from her teats of life, when her milk is poisoned? Seriously, environmentalists that claim to be the ones who are the only ones who care for the Earth, are now in a conundrum whether or not to embrace nuclear power as less of threat to mother Earth than fossil reserve oil & gas.... Well, how about this point then, AGW religious adherents: STOP KILLING TREES. Thoughts?
