Adding to this, NOAA has been caught red handed fudging weather station numbers that didn't fit the narrative they were looking for. This is fact. People who blindly accept such nonsense deserve to be hand wringers for life. True science does not pick conclusions and then find methods to substantiate those conclusions. That's completely backassward and flat earthing.

I hope Germany goes completely off the grid. Less demand for fossil fuels = more for me at a cheaper price.

Liberals be all like, all the science proves that the planet is warming. You can totally tell by how cold it is outside.

Did you know that evergreens once flourished in Antarctica before it was covered with ice? I'd imagine there are hundreds of unknown species frozen on the land surface there below the ice. Do you think it was man or nature that made the globe the warm back then? And do you think it was man or nature that caused the ice age?

    Thanks, reading it now.

Oh, and FYI. I believe that global climate change is occurring, as it always has. I don't believe that its a result of human activity.

    We agree.

Don't be mad at me because of the expectation to post sources.

Funny.... So, for half of the year when there is no wind, and it's cloudy all winter, then what? Batteries? Tell me when you damn the Rhine. or the Mosel. In any case, feel nationalist pride. See how the rest of Europe responds to that... again. Just saying. For the US, we'll just continue on being the backward, non leader of the tech world..... Which German company built your computer chip? Or computer, or phone? of, well, never mind. I'm positive that we'll see world domination from German tech infusing the world with their dominance soon.... :applause:

We get screwed with almost zero % unemployment, highest standard of living in the world and a budget surplus of 40 billion €.

Your poverty and debt disgust me.

Global warming is not something that can be felt. That's not how it works.

I remember people scoffing and laughing at him until their messiah made it a political issue. It's funny when Van Cweef points at me and yells partisan because the left didn't care about this until Obama told them to. I've laughed in disbelief since day 1.

Fundamentally I reject the premise. The idea that you can take a heterogeneous, uncontrolled, network of weather stations from all over the earth and use that network to reconstruct a global temperature going back to the mid 19th century to and accuracy of one onehundredth of a degree centigrade is laughable. The vast majority of historic weather stations are at airports and airfields for a reason. Pilots needed temperature readings to calculate lift. That doesn't require accuracy to one one-hundredth of a degree. No one measuring the temperature at the airstrip in Mobile Alabama in 1935 cared at all about taking a perfectly accurate measurement or even considered that decades later someone on a make work project would decide to use their reading to calculate historic global average temperature.

As far as I'm concerned the varrienc in the global historic temp is just noise and can't possibly be controlled to one one hundredth or even a tenth of a degree no matter what some self-appointed expert may claim.

No such luck. They do not. The whole Earth really is running above average right now despite it being cold in the United States.

I would think that if mankind continue to close the windows and turn up the heater that's the whole room would get consistently hot.

False. This is done multiple times per day by multiple institutions using different techniques and different inputs and they come up with the same result. Look up reanalysis and the use of 3DVAR and 4DVAR.

You're not intelligent enough to figure that out yet you expect us to believe you're a climate expert?

That's a misunderstanding. The atmosphere is never completely homogeneous...not even close. Like not even remotely close. And it never will be.

Bragging that you're raping the rest of Europe seems, well,....gratuitous. But we digress. Do tell us how the Great Germany will solve our climate issues for us. We'll wait.
