The first video Al Gore gets caught lying to congress, red handed, how can you trust this man and why was he going around crusading for climate change is he doing it from the goodness of his heart.

The second video they talk about who will profit who thought of this idea and why they want to implement it.

Now if a political dummy like myself can see through this scam why cant Gillard and Swan, there suppose to be our leaders for goodness sake.

Justice Department won't prosecute Goldman Sachs for financial crisis
August 10, 2012 WASHINGTON The Justice Department said Thursday it won't prosecute Wall Street firm Goldman Sachs or its employees in a financial fraud probe.

In a written statement, the department said it conducted an exhaustive investigation of allegations brought to light by a Senate panel investigating the 2008-2009 financial crisis. "The department and investigative agencies ultimately concluded that the burden of proof to bring a criminal case could not be met based on the law and facts as they exist at this time," the department said. But the department added that if additional or new evidence were to emerge, it could reach a different conclusion about prosecuting Goldman if warranted. A Senate subcommittee chaired by Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., in April 2011 found that Goldman marketed four sets of complex mortgage securities to banks and other investors but that the firm failed to tell clients that the securities were very risky. The Senate panel said Goldman secretly bet against the investors' positions and deceived the investors about its own positions to shift risk from its balance sheet to theirs.

The Justice Department's decision capped a good day for Goldman as the Securities and Exchange Commission decided not to file charges against the firm over a $1.3 billion subprime mortgage portfolio. At the same time, the Justice Department's decision ensured that the Obama administration will continue to feel political heat, particularly from the liberal wing of the president's own party, for not having brought more prosecutions in the financial crisis. The Senate panel probe turned up company emails showing Goldman employees deriding complex mortgage securities sold to banks and other investors as "junk" and "crap."

Levin said during his subcommittee's investigation that he believed that Goldman executives "misled the Congress" and that Goldman "gained at the expense of their clients and they used abusive practices to do it." Levin questioned the accuracy of testimony Goldman Sachs executives gave to Congress about whether the firm steered investors toward mortgage securities it knew likely would fail. Goldman CEO Lloyd Blankfein told the Senate panel that the company didn't bet against its clients and couldn't survive without their trust. The company lost $1.2 billion in the mortgage meltdown in 2007 and 2008 that touched off the financial crisis and the worst recession since the 1930s, Blankfein testified. He also insisted that Goldman wasn't making an aggressive negative bet -- or short sale -- on the mortgage market's slide.

In 2010, Goldman agreed to pay $550 million to settle civil fraud charges by the SEC of misleading buyers of mortgage-related securities. The agreement applied to one of the four deals cited by the Senate subcommittee. The Justice Department said it would aggressively pursue investigations of "matters affecting our financial system." The department pointed to its probe into the manipulation of the London Interbank Offered Rate. Britain's Barclays bank admitted in June that it had submitted false information to keep the rate low. Barclays was fined $453 million in settlements with the Justice Department, the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission and British regulators. LIBOR, as it is known, is the interest rate that banks charge each other for short-term loans. It is used as the benchmark for bank rates all over the world.

Al Gore: Obama must get moving on climate
12/6/12 - Former Vice President Al Gore said Thursday that its time for President Barack Obama to get moving on global warming.

I deeply respect our president, and I am grateful for the steps that he has taken, but we cannot have four more years of mentioning this occasionally and saying its too bad that the Congress cant act, Gore said in a speech in New York City at the New York League of Conservation Voters. Gore continued: I know how tough it is. Hes done more in first four years than any other administration has ever done, and I respect that and acknowledge that. But the time has long since passed for us to get moving.

The former vice president introduced New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, who later spoke about Hurricane Sandy and the need for the city to prepare for future storms. Gore urged the Obama administration to show leadership on the issue. In national government, to use a computer term, our democracy has been hacked, and when the large carbon polluters and their ideological allies tell the members of Congress to jump, they do say, How high? And we need leadership in the executive branch as well, Gore said.

Gore said lawmakers should view Bloomberg as an example and said that Sandy was related to global warming. What will it take for the national government to wake up as this mayor has been telling us to do? Gore asked. This storm was related to global warming. He added: Dirty energy causes dirty weather. Its not the first time Gore has criticized Obamas energy policies. In June 2011, Gore criticized Obamas environmental record in a 7,000-word article in Rolling Stone.

December 07, 2012 - The United States has joined nearly 200 countries at a United Nations climate summit in Doha, Qatar, this week with the primary goal of coming together on a treaty aimed at preventing what activists are calling dangerous climate change.

Some point to superstorm Sandy as a primary example of the need to curb emissions that they believe are fundamentally disrupting the way Earth's ecosystem works. They would like to have a treaty signed by 2015. But many in the energy industry are concerned the Obama administration, fresh off a re-election win, will go too far with a radical environmental strategy that will have a negative impact on U.S. businesses and consumers not just through the U.N., but executive edict. "They brought hundreds of millions of dollars into his re-election campaign," said Michael Whatley, vice president of the Consumer Energy Alliance. He believes the president delayed consideration of the Canada-to-Texas Keystone XL Pipeline because he couldn't afford to lose allies in the environmental sector, and may now feel pressure to deliver to those groups. Indeed, on the night of his re-election, Obama vowed the U.S. would be a leader in combating a "warming planet."

For years, both Democrats and Republicans have blocked cap-and-trade legislation on Capitol Hill which would set emissions limits and fees for those who exceed them. Now, a growing number of lawmakers are sounding an alarm about what they believe will be the Executive Branch's "end run" around Congress. Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., believes, whether via a U.N. treaty or domestic regulations, Obama will continue to work toward reining in domestic energy production. "The president couldn't get it done through legislation, so now he's doing it through regulation using our tax dollars to make it happen, he said. Inhofe sent a scathing recorded message to the U.N. gathering in Doha, chastising the administration for "quietly handing over billions of dollars to the United Nations in the name of global warming" as Washington runs up against a fiscal crisis.

But environmental groups say the president is simply doing his job. Bob Deans, of the Natural Resources Defense Council, said they've found a partner in Obama. "He understands that increased drought, record heat, wildfires, storms like Sandy ... are threats we need to do something about, he said. The Environmental Protection Agency is taking the federal lead, beefing up enforcement actions under the Clean Water Act and issuing new regulations. Inhofe is keeping a close eye on those regulations, but says the administration is stonewalling.

Under current law, the administration is supposed to provide a full accounting every April and October of any proposed regulations that will have a "significant" economic impact. That hasn't happened since 2011. Inhofe continues to push the White House for an explanation. A source at the White House, while not explaining the lapse, told Fox News that federal agencies are currently in the process of pulling together that information.

As long as bankers run the worlds economy there will be no justice for anyone.

Its time all governments around the world put these farkers in the place.

Only then will freedom and democracy come to the fore.

The banks own the Governments, so you will be waiting a very long time for any politicians to seriously go head-to-head with a bank. LOL LOL Why do you think they sold the peoples owned Commonwealth Bank and replaced it with the foreign owned Reserve Bank. Before it was sold, the Australian owned Commonwealth bank was able to loan the Australian Government interest free loans, but they couldn't allow that - so they sold it and replaced with the foreign owned Reserve bank, whereby the Australian Government has to pay interest to foreign shareholders. The commonwealth bank also controlled the printing of Australian currency, but that is now in the hands of the foreign owned Reserve ban also. There is a foreign owned Reserve Bank in nearly country in the world.
