Alabama Election Results: Doug Jones Defeats Roy Moore in U.S. Senate Race

That was the concept by which the Clinton D's and Bush 43 operated. Getting low income families into homes would be a very good thing and inspire them to get ahead in life earn economic success which would be good for the country. Bush increased the HUD requirement to 55%. Why did he do that ?? And what was the purpose of Clinton starting the program and raising the HUD requirement to 50% ?? The real tragedy of all this is that the people who suffered the most economic damage were the low income families that the program was supposed to help.

And of course some unscrupulous mortgage companies and politicians took advantage - ever heard of the friends of Angelo list ?? Why was it never published ?? Chris Dodd reaped in tens of thousands of dollars.

 

When they're selling bundled up bottom trench mortgages as AAA paper, there's something really, rotten going on. What I'd to know is why the idiots buying this garbage for pension funds were so derelict.

I remember going through Las Vegas on a long car trip with my wife after putting all of our money in cash back when the Bush numbskulls let Lehman go under. The housing crisis was going full bore by then. We drove through new housing developments south of town where whole streets would have one ot two occupied houses. Some houses had been lived in and up for sale, others were brand new. Everyday folks were hurt by these crooks. Marriages broke up and people lost their life savings.

Pardon me, but the people around here who defend the perps either don't know what really happened or don't care. I got out of the market through by mid-2008 and got back in starting in mid-2009. It was great for me, but not so good for most Americans who don't know their mutual fund salesman makes money by telling them not to sell. (Yeah, I could have made even more shorting stocks, but I don't like watching my money like a hawk.)

Someone completely unaffiliated with the existing public school system is the ideal person to reform it so that low income students have equal access to a quality education. The failures of the existing system is an insult to Americans and a tragedy to those low income students who are stuck in failed schools and not been lucky enough to win enrollment in a charter school lottery of receive a school voucher. Heard of Eva Moskowitz ?? Heard of Joel Klein ?? Heard of Michelle Rhee ??

He gutted the SEC by requiring enforcement actions be approved by board and he named Cox as the Chair. The DoJ did very little to stop widespread fraud in the marketing of securities.

 

I can tell you a lot about charter schools. First of all low income kids can enroll in charter schools but the misconception is that charter schools are so fabulous. Some of them are absolutely awful and some more wonderful. And why would somebody who is totally unaffiliated with the public school system be the ideal person to improve it. Wouldn’t somebody who is familiar with the existing public school system be the better person? I taught in one of those low income schools and we had the solution which was to create three separate many schools within the building. It was the most fantastic experience I ever had educationally
My concern is giving kids vouchers to private schools. What Goodwill a $1000 voucher be to a school that charges 20,000?
I bet you go to a carpenter for heart surgery because after all he is not affiliated with the medical profession

And he ain't gonna sue for a few reasons. First, he would be deposed and subject to testifying under oath. Next, there is reason to suspect that the theoretical defendants don't have much money to obtain. And finally, he won't because that would keep their name in the news and thereby destroy the bullshit right wing talking point of these women disappearing.

 

It appears there will be no liberal men other than homosexuals serving in washington or performing in hollywood pretty soon unless the left puts an end their fake morality purge
