All Democrats will have to carry the can

Firstly all Democrats in Congress are now responsible for Joe Biden remaining in power as president.

They are responsible for failing to inform Rep M Taylor of their vote to impeach Biden.

In consequence, any Democrat members of Congress up for reelection, even if they are good, will need to be replaced by Republicans to ensure a veto-proof majority to stop his madness.

 

Democrats in the general population will suffer if they support many of the main tenants of Democratic Party beliefs.

Maybe you think it's ok for other people's children to be unsure about which bathroom or changing room to use but what if your own child decided to have their reproductive organs removed as part of gender reassignment. And if five years later they blamed you for letting them. And what if you were the one who never got any grandchildren?

How would you explain to a relative when their mortgage rate went up that you approved of the petroleum restrictions that led to the inflation that allowed interest rates to rise?

 

Why would I lie?

 

A very relevant point because many other people do say in conversation the liberal points which are popular and in the media, so opinion polls are consistently more to the liberal end than the voting is.

That is called 'signaling'.

A specific example might be if you are at coffee with some successful people who are talking about how the US should provide housing and employment to everyone in Central America who needs it, most people would nod in approval. Even considering just the CO2 footprint of providing 30 million homes, and sufficient offices, schools, etc. is pretty scary. In the privacy of the voting booth, you are likely to vote the other way.

People signal their 'virtue', then act in a more rational way. That could be why Trump's victory over Hillary was something of a surprise.

But implementing a lot of those good-sounding memes has led to the disaster that is the Biden presidency, and it has to be stopped now, and not at the next election.

That is why Biden must be impeached and members of Congress need to know their actions from today on will have consequences to their election prospects.
