All WPA Created Buildings Should Be Privatized Or Destroyed

The WPA was the worst creation of FDR's socialist dystopian vision. In my town alone, we have a Post Office, a Borough Hall, 3 public schools and a YMCA that were built using WPA funds in the 1930s and 40s. In my opinion, all of these buildings should either be torn down or privatized, and gifted as severance to the genetically superior heirs of the honorable businessmen whose funds were stolen from them at gunpoint by FDR himself.

Agreed?

 

The WPA Buildings should stay.

 

Why? Building them in the first place was treason.

 

I'll tell you what.

Suppose we demolish your post office, three public schools and the YMCA, and let the local taxpayers foot the bill for replacing them.

I'm sure that your neighbors will be happy paying the taxes to cover a couple of hundred million in debt service (providing that is, that your schools are small)!

IF you want to see an extreme example of this kind of denial, got to the Alamo. The Alamo was restored and redeveloped during the 1930's, amost entirely by the WPA. But you won't see that acknowledeged anywhere in Texas!

When you have some facts to offer, we'll consider them.

 

The facts are that America needs to stop socialism at all and any cost whatsoever. Learned men from Cicero down to John Locke understood the dangers and evils of democracy, which we must guard against. They both agreed for the need of an elite group distinctive from the filthy stinking plebs who laze their days away on the dole. We must stand firm against the tyranny of the majority at all times, since it is always the largest threat to the health of the republic at all times. Hitler was a democratic socialist and his decision to kill the successful, capitalistic Jews came from his socialism, for one example.

 

Your idea of privatizing everything is just nonsense. Take, for example, postal service. It was written into the Constitution, long before Marx was born.

Pure genius. Let's tear down perfectly good buildings and waste money to rebuild them. It will only costs millions more to rebuild them than they did originally. We can destroy the canal system in California as well, because that was built with WPA funds. Californians don't need water. And if they do, they can spends 1000x as much money to rebuild them.

What a fantastic idea. Tear down perfectly sound old buildings and roads and bridges and canals and rebuild them for hundreds of billions more dollars.
